On Short Breaks, you maintain a good level of independence and freedom, with the added bonus of having the details sorted out for you. You’ll have lots of free time and you won’t be accompanied by a Trip Leader. This means that all included activities and tours will be run by different local Tuuur partners, and these may operate independently from each other. The included activities and transfers will operate on a join-in basis, which means that you could have your Adventure all to yourself, or others may join you along the way. If you would prefer to travel in a group with a dedicated Trip Leader, just get in touch with your booking agent and they will take you through some alternatives.

Visit the Spice Island of Zanzibar – a remote paradise where the water is transparent, the beaches are powder-white and the air is filled with the heady scent of spice. The very definition of a beachside bliss, this archipelagic gem is brimming with vibrant coral and tropical fish – the ideal spot to flop and drop for four days. Discover the blend of cultures in the local cuisine, wander the winding alleyways of historic Stone Town, delight your senses on an optional guided spice tour, go snorkelling or simply lay back and relax on one of Zanzibar’s world-renowned beaches.

1. Transfers from Zanzibar Airport to Stone Town Accommodation and Northern Zanzibar to Zanzibar Airport (or Northern Zanzibar to Stone Town Accommodation) are included as part of this trip. Please provide us with your flight details at least 15 days prior to departure. If you purchase post tour accommodation in Stone Town, a transfer from this accommodation to Zanzibar Airport will be at additional cost.
2. This is a join-in trip, so if other travelers have booked on the same date you may share some activities.

Visit Zanzibar! The people are kind and friendly, and the landscape is truly a tropical paradise. Both our city guides and spice farm guides were excellent, and our family was moved by the beautiful meal prepared for us by a local cooperative family. We all learned some Kiswahili and about Stone Town's meaningful and fascinating history. We even caught a modern taarab concert during an Eid celebration. Unforgettable family trip!

The Zanzibar beach break was wonderful. If I had known how fabulous it is, I would have gone for longer! I loved the spice tour and the beaches at Nungwi were paradise. I plan to go again and spend longer.
