An amazing trip in every way. Mulu National Park was the highlight, but overall it was the perfect balance of nature, hiking, cities and free time. Rody was an incredible trip leader and we highly recommend this tour.

Amazing trip! We saw so many amazing animals and natural wonders. Our guide Rody was fantastic and made it all so easy for us. It was a great mix of hiking, nature walks, city and beach activities. My favorites were probably Bako NP (monkeys! Birds! Pigs!) and the amazing caves in Mulu. Grab your hiking boots and just do it!

Amazing trip! Everything from seeing wildlife, visiting massive caves, and trekking through the rainforest is so incredible! But it's hot--so be sure to bring lightweight clothes and drink lots of water! :)

We are so glad we chose the wild Sarawak trip as the first half of our Borneo adventure. The difficulty rating is probably appropriate but only because of the trekking element in Mulu. I would have brought fewer electronic devises for the family as they all needed to go in hand luggage and therefore be carried on the trek, otherwise all very manageable walking, if hot. Worth getting to the wilder places of Sarawak than the more travelled Sabah region, see more, more authentic and far fewer tourists.

We had a terrific trip with our guide, Nizam! I really loved everything -- the wildlife, the natural scenery, the hiking, the amazing food, relaxing the beach resort is a great finale to the long hiking days, and the city time in Kuching and Kota Kinabalu was also fun. The trip is busy with all of the activities and various transport and we were tired at the end of each day (in the best possible way), but that is exactly what I'm enjoy in a holiday. There was sufficient downtime, too, if needed. It was totally worth the 30-ish hours of travel each way to get to Borneo. I would highly recommend this trip.
