If you enjoy being physically active and surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, walking the highlights of the Lycian Way is an ideal choice. You'll be treated to stunning views of the deep blue and turquoise waters of the Mediterranean.
Accommodations along the route are generally simple but consistently clean, often family-run guesthouses that have been operated for generations. Meals are hearty, flavorful, and rich in local tradition.
A highly recommended addition to your journey is a boat trip around Kekova Island, where you can swim in crystal-clear, shallow bays—a truly unforgettable experience.

This was a fantastic trip - a great mixture of walks (some reasonably intense, especially in May temperatures, but usually in the shade), historical sites, and time to chill out at beautiful quiet beaches near the guest houses. Our guide Selcen was super knowledgeable and made it a wonderful trip for our group.

We enjoyed our Lycian highlights tour! Our guides made a charming double act with Selcen's history and archaeology expertise and Micki's enthusiasm.

Excellent trip, even though the hiking was harder than I anticipated. I hurt my knee after day one - however there were alternative activities that my wife and I could do that were enjoyable, like a boat cruise and different walking options. The tour leader was very proactive in organising alternatives. The accommodation includes guest houses, which on occasion can be a bit basic. Some were excellent. The archeological sites and scenery are magnificent.

I booked the Lycian Way tour based on a great experience with Intrepid's Hadrian's Wall walk in 2023. The Lycian Way is more about hiking (and hills) than history, and more physically challenging than Hadrian's Wall, but it's still a great experience if you're into ancient history and classical cultures. We had a lovely group, a truly excellent guide and perfect weather, and swims in the Mediterranean at the end of each day were wonderful. The hotels were great and the food was amazing. A very well organised tour.

A perfect mix between (rather light) physical activity and a cultural trip. There is also time for relaxation every day, e.g. swimming in the sea or reading. The nature is stunningly beautiful and the Turkish food is excellent (lots of vegetables, wonderful meze) ! A great tour for active recreation.

Beautiful insight into local life in Turkey as well as stunning views. The best part of the trip was definitely our guide as he was a genuine friend and enthusiastic about everything we did!
