This was a terrific short trip to get a sense of the great walks. Our guide Ben was really knowledgable about the flora and fauna of the area, and always in good humour and high spirits. The jetboat to lake manapouri was a highlight for me.

This was an excellent itinerary for a first trip to this extraordinary part of the world. It allowed me to experience small parts of the three great walks in this area, as well as various activities which were all very well organised. We had a terrific guide whose knowledge of the area, both nature and historical meant I learnt a lot as well as enjoying the beautiful environment. Fantastic for a first trip to Fiordland - I’ll be back!

Where do I start. The trip exceeded all my expectations. The Fiordland was spectacular and the ability to see three different terrain through the Routeburn, Kepler and the Milford created diversity. We were spoilt with our local guide - Roh from Trips and Tramps who was so passionate about her home that it was hard not to be drawn in. In fact you could tell the whole community of Te Anau really loved the Fjordland (it was not hard to see why) but it was infectious. Roh’s extensive knowledge also surprised me and it was delivered in a way that kept things interesting. She showed a real care for everyone on the trip. It was hard to pick a highlight but I think the cruise in Milford Sound just a solidified what was an amazing experience. We had some prime waterfalls. I have left feeling energised and excited for my next adventure. I will definitely back to NZ at some point!
