Our second Intrepid trip, and we could not be happier! I love meeting new families on an exciting adventure. This itinerary really gives you a full experience of all of Vietnam. The food was amazing, and our guide made everything fun and stress-free. Thank you!

If you are thinking of taking your family on a journey, Vietnam Family holiday is perfect. My 12 & 10 year old kids made friends and shared the adventures with both their new friends and family. Not one did I hear a complaint from them, they were too busy. A treat for all the senses, we all can't wait to go on another Intrepid Family Holiday.

We loved our Family Comfort tour of Vietnam, from the north to the south of the country. It took all the hard work out of travel in an unfamiliar country with a different language, and we loved the small-group travel format, with two other lovely families, and our helpful and knowledgeable guide, Cong. Apart from the odd long bus trip of 3-4 hours, the kids were never bored. I would thoroughly recommend this style of travel to other families who want to share the world with their kids, and we are already thinking about our next trip!

This trip was so well organised and covered the diversity of this beautiful country thoroughly, but probably the best thing was our tour guide Manh. Manh was organised, passionate and with a great sense of humour and care for us and our children. He constantly checked on how everybody was going, knew of all our interests, dietary requirements/preferences etc. and generally tried to ensure we had the best possible experience. In the down times he offered extra options, like a trip to a coffee shop he recommended nearby, or an extra museum we may like. After dinner one night he organised for the children to go home with one parent and booked their taxis so the other adults could check out bar street. He could easily have had a night off and let us go our own ways, but he also offered somewhere we could go to do dinner together if we wished, and arranged the transport, bookings etc. I needed some items from the chemist and Manh ensured I knew where to go, what to ask for and even came with me to make sure I got the right thing. All the children on our trip got along really well and decided to put on a performance at the home stay on our second to last night, and Manh was encouraging and helping them to organise this, including teeing up a speaker and microphone for them. Then on the last night he read out a poem he had written for the children. Manh would talk for an hour on a long bus trip, about the history of the places we were going and how it linked to his own life. The stories were filled with passion and humour, and were not boring at any point for anybody including the children, aged from 7-12. I would highly recommend this trip and particularly Manh to anyone who asks, and in fact I have done so already!
