Is this trip right for you?

Prepare for hot and sticky temperatures during the day, but cooler climates in the evening. Layers are the best way to tackle this. Be sure to also drink plenty of water and use sun protection.
verified
You and your family will visit several temples on this trip, which means covering up arms and shoulders as per the local custom. A light scarf is a great idea for covering shoulders and arms when it’s hot.
verified
Your overnight train journey (Day 4) is quite long. Make the most of it by checking out the scenery and chatting with local travellers. There's nothing quite like waking up on a sleeper train in a new and exciting destination. While bedding is supplied some families choose to bring their own sleep sheets.

A fantastic multi-generational experience for our family, taking the trip with my dad and daughters. We all enjoyed this whole trip and it's hard to pick a favourite day. Highlights included the overnight train, Erawan falls and the artists house visit in Bangkok. The itinerary was carefully designed to suit kids of all ages (we had 5-15 in our group) and expertly led by our fantastic leader, Raht.

This was our first family trip with Intrepid and to Thailand. It was amazing! My family is very happy with the activities and accommodations; the river hotel was our favorite! And sliding down a huge rock/ waterfall and seeing elephants is truly an experience my children will never forget! I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone. The itinerary was meticulously thought out and meeting the other families was an added bonus. Our tour guide, Nok, was the best!! Thank you, Nok and Intrepid!

This trip opened my daughter and I up to safe and immersive happy traveling in Asia- it had many profound moments brought on by Intrepids beautifully curated itinerary. Ning was a treasure, she was the best possible tour guide and made our trip magical. Intrepid chose a tour for us with other teen families which enlivened things for my daughter. The transport and hotels were charming and comfortable. We got to explore openly and safely and also connect deeply with the culture because of the activities. It’s a jam packed tour but also with lots of downtime.
