Is this trip right for you?
Tasmania is bigger than it appears. To make the most of your time this trip involves some long travel days. Please see the daily itinerary for more information. Please also note that the trip does not include much time in Hobart. If you would like to properly explore Tasmania's capital city, we recommend you allow some additional time before or after your trip.
This trip involves plenty of walking over varied terrain and is best suited to travellers with good fitness and mobility. Several leader-led walks are included on a daily basis, allowing you to get among nature. This was our first Intrepid trip. It is noteworthy that all other members of our group were returning customers. Excellent trip, well organised, varied, superb guide.

This trip is a fantastic introduction to Tasmania. It's jam packed, you see so many places I probably would have skipped had I gone on my own. It has the sights, the wildlife, history, culture and food and leaves you satisfied but also wanting to come back for more

These are often called adventures but adventure seems too small a word. The things you see, the people you meet and the memories you take away are unforgettable. Everybody's experience will be different but that's part of the fun so just go for it.

Tassie is a magical place! I learned so much about Tasmanian history, wildlife and environment through our fearless and passionate tour leader. Stacey could identify plants on the spot, recommend a great pub, and told stories of Tasmanian history on long drives. Excellent trip all around.

I had an amazing time with Lauren (best tour leader ever, YAYY) exploring Tasmania. This was the first time as an Australian I've done a tour like this in Australia and it was brilliant. From hiking in the Tarkine to swimming in the Bay of Fires, it was sensational.
