Travelling during this holy month can be a rewarding cultural experience, however some regular services may not be available during the daytime, such as restaurants or coffee bars, and occasionally travel can be disrupted by events. Your leader will adjust the itinerary accordingly, but please consider your travel arrangements carefully before booking travel for this period.

When travelling in Morocco, temperatures can get very hot in the summer while in the desert, so ensure you bring appropriate sun protection. At night and in the mountains, temperatures can drop to freezing, so ensure you also bring layers. Please refer to our Essential Trip Information for more details.

The itinerary was perfect - both content and schedule and gave a good overview to Morocco outside the bigger cities.

Excellent trip and highly recommend! Whilst I do love a wandering around the medina and souks, nature is my preference and this trip has exceeded it - from breathtaking mountains scenery to the Sahara desert, and the little villages. We met some of the kindest, warmest people who shared their ways of life with heartfelt openness, and welcomed us into their homes for a real treat of Moroccan hospitality, with mint tea, traditional music and great banter.
Our Tour Lead Mustapha has also been part of this great experience who not only smoothly took us through this cultural exploration, but also shared with us his Amazigh experience and hospitality. Thank you!

Excellent itinerary in the lesser seen parts of Morocco. Sahara is remote but the visit was well managed. Great way to see the local cultures of the south.

This trip really does give you amazing variety. From the foothills of Toubkal to the dunes of the Sahara to the the quirky and laid back resort of Essouria. It’s hard to pick a favourite moment as they were all so different.
