Being my first trip with Intrepid I was nervous and wasn't sure what to expect or how I would like traveling with a group. However, this exceeded my expectations. Having a trip planned for us made it seamless and took a lot of pressure off of me to make specific plans. It allowed my family to see multiple cities without stress of traveling in our own. The hotels were booked, the transfers were taken care of. We saw the highlights without the fuss. Lastly, the teen aspect of the trip was such a bonus. My teen girls loved loved loved having other kids their age in the trip. It added something unforgettable and special to the trip. While I think they like to travel with us, the parents, it added another level of fun and experience to hang out with others your age. This was by far their favorite vacation and we can't wait until our next intrepid tour.

Slovenia is a hidden gem. After going on the Intrepid trip with teenagers, we now know that there is so much more to the country than Tadej Pochajar. Slovenia really has it all, lovely cities with great architecture and history amazing mountains in the Julian Alps and a beautiful Adriatic coast. The tour leader from Intrepid really made the group of five different families gel completely and gave us great insights to the region.

When in Slovenia our guide was very kind . She spread knowledge and wisdom wherever she went telling us facts and figure at every location. Getting to experience the culture and try local cuisine was amazing . For an exiting family holiday I would totally reckoned it . It was fun enjoyable and really nice to get to know people.

A fantastic trip for a family with teenagers, a perfect mix of adventurous activity, free time and group togetherness. Slovenia is a gorgeous country which we got to see and learn a lot about during our trip - we hope to visit again and will certainly travel with intrepid again

Amazing trip, a perfect balance of local cultural sights, family activities and leisure time. Our trip leader was brilliant and was always giving us local insights, history and enough information to make our trip perfect.

Slovenia completely exceeded our expectations. The active itinerary was the perfect mix of adventure: cycling, hiking, rafting, canyoning, ziplining and stunning scenery. Our teenagers loved meeting new people and our group quickly bonded. Everything was well organised, our guide Lucija was fantastic, and we left with incredible memories and a genuine love for Slovenia.

This trip is a must for adventurous families with a love of the outdoors. Slovenia is spectacularly beautiful with breathtaking terrain and a plethora of activities to keep every teen active and happy. Highly recommended.

Lucija led our group of 2 families (4+6) with enormous energy, knowledge and tolerance. All the logistics were taken care of with excellent dinner suggestions throughout. She additionally expertly guided our free days in Bovec and Portoroz, with all adrenaline sports very safely equipped and nearby, allowing us to canyon and zip line in one memorable day!
