Embark on a journey to Iceland and experience its magic in any season – whether that’s soaking up the midnight sun or searching for the Northern Lights!
verified
Chase waterfalls in a country known for its flowing cascades. Visit popular sites like Gullfoss and Geysir in the Golden Circle and then head off-the-beaten-track to sites like Gljufrabui and Gluggafoss.

Explore Southern Iceland – a world of striking contrasts – with a local leader who knows all the secret spots. Walk past blue-white icebergs at the Jokulsarlon Glacier, ford the fjords and soak up the silence of the surrounding grey sand desert.
verified
Visit Thingvellir National Park – the Eurasian and American tectonic plates may now be pulling apart, but over a thousand years ago, this was the site where Iceland's first parliament came together.

Choose your own adventure in Reykjavik with loads of free time – whether that’s soaking in geothermal seawater at the famed Blue Lagoon or snorkelling at Silfra Fissure.

By travelling on this trip, you’ll learn about our Tuuur Foundation partner, SEA LIFE TRUST Beluga Whale Sanctuary in the Westman Islands. Donations help them in their work with rescuing local puffins as well as rehabilitation of these and two rescued beluga whales, which were previously performing in captivity in an aquarium in Shanghai. Tuuur will double the impact by dollar-matching all post-trip donations made to The Tuuur Foundation.

As accommodation on this trip is multishare, you will share a room with other travellers of the same gender. This means travellers on the same booking may be split between rooms due to the single gender rooms. Triple-share, quad-share and multi-share bunk accommodation may be used depending on the season and the make-up of the group. Please also be aware that many guesthouses in Iceland offer shared bathrooms rather than ensuite facilities. Rooms in Iceland can be small, and at times you may be accommodated a short walk away from the main building.

Iceland can be cold throughout the year, especially at night. Please bring appropriate clothing for adverse weather conditions. There may be occasions where your leader has to alter the itinerary and activities due to the weather. In Winter months, this itinerary may run in a different order, although inclusions will remain the same.

Due to the remote locations we visit, there are a few long drives on this trip. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the scenery and spend some time getting to know the other members of your group. On this trip we are travelling in our own private minibus with complimentary wi-fi.
Itinerary
If you’re after geysers, glaciers and good times, Iceland is the spot
There's a lot more to Iceland than ice! Across six days, you’ll find fjords, glaciers, volcanoes, black sands and thermal springs in the world's far north. Important notes
verified
1. Iceland can be an expensive destination, especially in terms of eating out. In remote areas the only option for dinner will be at the guesthouse we are staying at. Stock up on food at a supermarket prior to arrival if you would like to opt out eating at onsite restaurant. Please make sure you read the itinerary carefully in order to know what is and what isn't included in the trip price. Your leader will be able to advise on how to save money.

This trip was excellent and a good way to get a good overview of this area of Iceland. We fit a lot into a short time but was not exhausting. Gisli was a great guide and I really enjoyed his stories and information. We had a great group, the accommodation was impressive for the cost and met all of my needs. Some of the locations were so picturesque. Gisli was so accommodating for us making sure we had lots of options for food and activities. I would recommend this trip 100 percent.

A short and sweet trip that includes everything that a first visit to Iceland should cover. Gisli was very knowledgable and had enchanting stories about the myths and legends of Iceland, that complemented very well with the scenic routes and the long drives.

I had a fantastic time in Iceland! The itinerary was jam packed and well planned. Iceland was just stunning! Our tour guide Gisli was very knowledgeable and took very good care of us. There were 13 people (all solo travellers) in my group and we all got on so well. This was a highlight in itself. On the longer travel days there were plenty of sightseeing stops along the way. Definitely recommend budgeting in the glacier hike, it was one of the highlights. Accommodation was generally good, but be aware you will be sharing with around 2-6 people, eating out options are limited in remote locations, but there was generally ok cooking facilities available. If Iceland is one of your bucket list destinations, this is a great way to see as much as you can in a short amount of time.

I would recommend this trip to anyone. Our group was consisted of mostly solo travelers and were similar in age so we all got to know each other pretty well during our trip. Our guide, Gisli, was absolutely incredible. He was so knowledgeable, kind, and enthusiastic and really made the trip fantastic.

I have never done a group tour before and was initially nervous about what it would be like. The tour far exceeded all my expectations. It was well paced and planned out and Gisli our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make the tour so fun. I would do another intrepid tour again.
