Is this trip right for you?
On Short Break Adventures, you maintain a good level of independence and freedom, with the added bonus of having the details sorted out for you. You’ll have lots of free time and you won’t be accompanied by a trip leader. This means that all included activities and tours will be run by different local Tuuur partners, and these may operate independently from each other. The included activities and transfers will operate on a join-in basis, which means that you could have your adventure all to yourself, or others may join you along the way. If you would prefer to travel in a group with a dedicated leader, just get in touch with your booking agent and they will take you through some alternatives.

Important notes
1. This Short Break Adventure is a ‘join in’ group departure, which means you are not accompanied by an Tuuur group leader – our local representative fills this role – and the configuration of any fellow travellers in the group might change during the trip.
2. This trip will run with a minimum of one person, so you may be joined by other travellers booked on the same date as you, or you may be on your own.
3. This trip is operated by one of our local partners in Chile and therefore you may be joined by a mixture of Intrepid-booked passengers and other travellers during activities.
Information may be delivered in English and Spanish, or just English depending on the requirements of the group.

The service that was provided surpass my expectations to the point I did not mind going on another alone trip. Knowing that the tour guide and advisor was responding to every question and made suggestions and advice.

Santiago is great place to visit! The short break was good. The city tour went to all the main sites and day trip to Valparaiso and winery was great also. Local guides were very good.

Santiago is a fun city. The hotel option from intrepid was substandard…

Overpriced & Underdelivered - don’t do it, I would never contemplate using Intrepid again & I would never recommend using the company to anybody.

The local tour guides are very knowledgeable and showed their enthusiasm. However on the downside, there is a breakdown for the communication from local tour operator. There is no information available for me, as details and times for the tour pick up. I had to make an effort and reach out…they also swapped the planed itinerary without any notice. It’s very unorganised.
