Set sail for the stunning Turkish Riviera on this eight-day sailing trip from Fethiye to Bodrum. With the perfect combination of sightseeing, hiking, swimming, sunbathing, relaxing and shopping, you’ll be soaking up the sights and sounds in the most famous resort towns in Turkey. Why you’ll love this trip
Sail along the Turkish Riviera on a relaxed trip full of swimming, snorkelling, sunbathing, sightseeing and shopping. What more could you want while you cruise along the sparkling Mediterranean?
Swim in Cleopatra's Bath – these submerged ruins of an ancient Roman bath are also known as the Sunken Bath, where Cleopatra was said to have frequented with her lover, Marc Antony.
Swap the Turkish gullet for a riverboat and cruise the delta to see the ancient Rock Tombs of Kaunos, carved into the cliffs 2500 years ago.
Soak in the rejuvenating mud baths of Kaunos, where the warm, sulfur-rich waters will leave you soft, radiant and relaxed.
Shop, explore and feast on fresh seafood with your free time in the resort towns of Fethiye, Bodrum, Marmaris, Datca and Gocek.
Is this trip right for you?
This trip is aboard a traditional Turkish gullet (a traditional wooden Turkish motor sailing boat). All cabins will have ensuite bathrooms and you’ll stay in a mixture of twin share and double bed cabins, all on the same deck. It’s recommended that you pack light, as cabins are cosy.
All cabins will experience a light engine noise when the ship is moving (and occasionally when you drop anchor). It’s probably worth packing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.
A good swimming ability is essential on this trip to enjoy all activities.
Many meals are included onboard the boat. Where meals are not included, you’ll have time on land in beachside towns and resort towns for optional meals.
Some activities and excursions will involve a bit of walking. You’ll be visiting ancient sites and historical places, and at times you may be walking on uneven ground in hot conditions. If you have any concerns, please speak to your local leader.
If you’re travelling with your own group of friends or family and would like to book a private departure on this sailing trip, our Tailor-Made team will be happy to help: https://www.tuuur.com/tailor-made https://www.tuuur.com/tailor-made (https://www.tuuur.com/tailor-made)

This was my 1st Intrepid trip and it did not disappoint. It was a wonderful 8 days sailing the Turkish Riveria. Everything about the trip came together like an intricate puzzle, and it all fit perfectly.

Excellent trip! We tacked on this 8 day luxurious sail after a week of visiting various spots in Turkey. It was nice to be pampered and still learn about historical spots on the Mediterranean and Aegean seas with some fellow travelers and friendly and knowledgeable crew. Great value and I’d recommend as an essential Turkish experience for other travelers.

Our Turkish gulet trip was so wonderful. Elif and the crew really went above and beyond, and the scenery was beautiful and peaceful. We loved the balance of swimming, exploration of ancient cities, and time on the boat and in coastal towns.

The boat trip was so relaxing. There were a lot of opportunities to swim and read. Everything was arranged for us and the meals on the boat were to best I’ve had. There were a few days when we had almost nothing on the agenda. The only down side was that I wanted to see more local towns along the way. Overall it was an amazing experience and I would recommend it and do it again!

What an amazing way to experience the Turkish coast, remote towns that feel untouched by mass tourism. Swimming in the clear water of the Aegean, ancient history, delicious Turkish cuisine, wow! I'm still thinking about the views of the roadless mountains dropping down to the ocean and clear starry nights.

Overall I really enjoyed this trip and loved sailing through Turkey with lovely people in picturesque locations and eating delicious Turkish food prepared by the chef. My only disappointments with the trip were with Intrepid as some of the trip notes and questions I asked them before the trip were incorrect so it did not have everything that was promised.
