As most of this trip takes place on a sailing boat, you’ll need to feel comfortable with moving about the vessel, including stairs. Your friendly crew will be able to help with the effects of sea sickness if needed.
Time on the water also means time in the sun. Remember to pack sun protection, such as sunscreen and a hat, and drink plenty of water to keep hydrated. See ‘Essential Trip Information’ below for a full packing list.
This is an adventure on board a real yacht, which means living spaces, cabins, bathrooms and showers need to be shared with other passengers. Sleeping quarters can be quite compact, but you will be spending most of your time above board in the open air.

Jump aboard for a sailing trip between the tropical islands of Thailand
Feel the wind in your hair as you set sail through the paradisical surroundings of Thailand's west coast. Plunge into the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea, relax on powdery white beaches and watch the sunset every night from the beach or your yacht. From bustling Phuket to postcard-perfect Koh Phi Phi, you’ll go snorkelling through the clear waters of Ko Daeng, discover ice cream-shaped stalactites and stalagmites in Koh Phanak and kayak to your heart’s content in Koh Hong.

Important notes
1. The tour commences from Phuket on Day 1 at 1pm and finishes on arrival into Phi Phi on Day 4 at approximately midday, depending on weather conditions.
2. All travellers must pay National Park fees locally. Please allow US$10 for these fees.

AACCOMMODATION ON BOARD THE YACHT
This trip is accommodated on board a 58 foot, twin-hulled sailing catamaran. Our boat is equipped with 1 x twin-share, 2 x double-share and 2 x quad-share cabins each with en-suite bathrooms and fans.
The skipper will allocate the rooms on arrival to the boat and single travellers will be paired up with another passenger of the same gender this may mean sharing a double mattress. The skipper will also be sharing the catamaran's facilities and sleeping quarters.
While some may find the living quarters quite close, those who are looking to revel in the adventure and exhilaration of an authentic sailing trip usually find any discomfort is more than made up for by the spirit of this sailing experience.

Truly the most amazing 7 days on the islands in Thailand. With our amazing and experienced guide Nolte and fed delicious Thai food from the talented Da. The very experienced Captain Do gave us a very smooth trip, so good laughs and Sun kept everything in working order. The team on the boat were amazing to watch work together. The starboard quad room on Catalaya is very comfortable with lots fans and storage space. The trip gives you amazing views, excellent food, lots of downtime to relax and plenty of snorkelling at different reefs over 7 days. The sea life is thriving! The people you meet on these trips are always the highlight … big recommend to all to do this very special trip, you will not regret it!

Would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the beauty and highlights of the Andaman sea without the craziness of the crowd. Food served on the boat is oke of the best you'll have in Thailand, the sunrises and sunsets are unbeatable. You'll sleep under the stars (if you want to) and the crew will go above and beyond to cater to your needs. 10/10.

Had an amazing experience aboard 'Cataleya' travelling with my teen daughter. The activities were fantastic, the scenery phenomenal, and the meals exceptional. Thoroughly recommend this trip, we felt very safe with a great crew, meet some lovely fellow travelers whilst having and unforgettable trip.

We just finished an amazing three night trip on the Catelaya with Mr Rob and his fantastic crew (Cpt Do, chef Da and first mate Chai) We had a real adventure travelling around the Andaman, mostly by engine but we sailed whenever there was enough wind. We visited the ice cream caves, Phakbia, snorkelled at chicken islands, had an inland excursion to Railay, Da prepared delicious meals for us, mostly local cuisine, sometimes with fresh fish caught by the crew! Cold beers and soft drinks were always available from the fridge. We did the trip via intrepid and had a nice bunch of folks travelling with us from all over the world- US, Ireland, England, Aus, Spain, Germany. Everyone was friendly and we were sad to say goodbye at the end of the trip. Mr Rob was a great guide / captain / host. He gave good banter and welcomed good banter in return. Other than his poor taste in international rugby teams you couldn’t ask for a better host. A 5* experience on a beautiful vessel with a lovely crew, highly recommended.
