3. You don't have a lot of time in Rome at the start of the trip, so if you're keen to explore this spectacular city in depth we recommend you arrive a day or two before the start of the trip, especially if you would like to see the Vatican Museum as it is closed most Sundays. Our tour from Rome to Amalfi was life changing. We got to experience Italy as a local would, eating at exceptional restaurants and staying at beautiful hotels all run by local families. Our tour guide Michela was nothing short of amazing, anyone will be lucky to have her as their guide. I will definitely book again in the future.

My family’s Intrepid trip to Italy was so wonderful. We covered a lot of major and historical parts of southern Italy, and made friends along the way. The trip went so smoothly, and I would definitely travel with Intrepid again.

It was a short but excellent trip to see a part of Italy that would be difficult to manage as a solo traveller … you need to pack light for the bag drag on the tour (no assistance provided) so make sure you receive an Intrepid bag for all your purchased nick knacks along the way ..
