We had an amazing Intrepid tour in the Red Centre of Australia. The tour was far better than we expected and would highly recommend this tour to other travellers. A challenging location was made easy for us to experience and truly enjoy! We would choose Intrepid again.

We did the 6 day Red Centre trip and absolutely loved it. Got to see all the bucket list sites, but more….the little stops and extras along the way were only possible being in a small group. David our guide was awesome.

Excellent itinerary and our passionate, knowledgeable tour leader, David made our trip so much better than what I could ever have imagined. Cultural tour with Sarah a highlight. Meeting Conrad and Noeline a privilege. The wonderful host, Maya and the Finke River camp was beyond my expectations. Shout out to Gareth and his wife who came to our aide at David’s request.

Our Intrepid Tour was a mix of physical and cultural activities made special by the quality of the guide and, in our case, the compatibility of the group. Our Guide possessed a comprehensive knowledge of the local indigenous people and their stories. Her was also able to readily identify the flora and fauna. I would have no hesitation in recommending Intrepid for similar tours.

Such an incredible trip Jam packed with activities Saw so much and learned more than I expected to. A humble experience as an Australian who had her eyes open to the beauty of our own outback backyard !

My Intrepid Red Centre adventure was one of those journeys. From the first glimpse of Uluru glowing beneath the endless outback sky, to magical sunsets, golden sunrises and vast landscapes stretching beyond the horizon, every moment felt like stepping into another world. There was something incredibly powerful about standing before Uluru — feeling its ancient presence, surrounded by silence, space and stories that reach far beyond our own. Travelling with an amazing group, sharing laughter, stories, long days on the road and unforgettable moments made the experience even more special. And with our wonderful guide Tom leading the way, the journey became more than just a trip — it became a collection of memories I’ll carry with me. The Red Centre didn’t just take my breath away. This was an amazing trip. Jason’s knowledge and enthusiasm is outstanding. Everything was well organised and I met many lovely people.

Well organised, with great local insight, amazing walks and a very cool guide, plus unexpectedly good accommodations (more glamping than camping), this was a really easy and enjoyable trip.
