Spend some time in rural Tordi, away from the tourist trail, and stay in an 18th-century palace, enjoy a homecooked dinner from your host and explore the nearby ruined temple and fortress.
verified
Fall asleep to the calls of the jungle in Chitwan National Park, then embark on a safari in search of rhinos, deer, monkeys, tigers and a wide array of bird life.

This trip involves travel on public transport covering large distances, meaning some long travel days. Long-distance and overnight trains can often be delayed and occasionally cancelled due to heavy fog between December and February. Some patience will go a long way towards your enjoyment here. Sit back, relax and watch the scenery go by (a book or podcast won't hurt either).

Weather in India and Nepal can be very hot in summer and surprisingly cold in winter, so please pack accordingly so you aren't caught out! Check seasonal weather guides and pick a travel time that suits your comfort level.

This trip is a great way to see a lot in a short period of time and it can be part of a longer itinerary if you have more time to explore. You might like to check out Epic India to Nepal.

The trip was fantastic - really eye-opening and a great whistle-stop tour of such interesting and diverse countries. I’d say the tour isn’t for the faint-hearted as you’re thrown head first into India and there are some long travel days. However the payback is worth it. Nepal provides some much-needed calm at the end.

An amazing trip, full of culture, incredible food and amazing experiences. G was an amazing guide, leading us safely through India, allowing us to relax and have fun whilst we explored such a beautiful part of the world! I joined as a solo traveller, made some friends for life and would highly recommend.

A great tour to see a lots of India and Nepal too. Our tour leader was sensational! The only downside was no time on the tour spent sightseeing/doing activities in Delhi

Intrepid tours are such a wonderful way to see a country like a local, to get off the beaten track to see places & try things you never would if you travelled alone.
As a female traveller, I also felt so safe & protected, which I believe is immensely important.
The guides are always full of local wisdom & knowledge which helps make the trip even more unforgettable.
Highly recommend!
