Why you’ll love this trip
Go behind the scenes of the beans during a unique stay on a traditional coffee estancia located deep in Colombia's coffee country – caffeine addicts rejoice!
Take part in a game of Tejo – Colombia's national sport and a popular pastime in Salento (think bocce with gunpowder) – with the locals in the Tejo hall.
Hike through the lush Cocora Valley – home to cute little hummingbirds and the world's tallest palm trees!
Explore Colombia’s Caribbean coast with two free days in Palomino. Chill out on the beach, hike through the jungle in nearby Tayrona National Natural Park or dine on delicious seafood – the choice is yours!
Lose yourself in the colours of Cartagena as you wander through the cobbled streets packed with beautiful churches, monasteries, and mansions. Then, enjoy two full days of free time to choose your own adventure.
By travelling on this trip, you’ll directly support our Tuuur Foundation partner, PAC. Donations help them bring life-changing healthcare to rural communities in Colombia.
Is this trip right for you?
As this trip only has limited time in Bogota, we highly recommend staying a few extra days before your tour to enjoy all this amazing destination has to offer.
The Cocora Valley hike is pretty rigorous, so you'll need to be fit and have sturdy walking shoes. If you'd rather relax, you can opt out of this activity.
Colombia enjoys a stable climate all year round, but it can get pretty hot and humid in the north. Be sure to drink plenty of water and wear adequate sun protection, especially in Cartagena on the coast.

Great tour to discover beautiful Colombia, with a good balance of activities and time to relax. Our guide, Andrea, was absolutely amazing, providing very interesting cultural and historical context along the way, keeping us organized, and making sure everyone is having a good time. We had an amazing time during the "Real Colombia" trip and could see so many different facets of Colombia and the culture as I could not have imagined beforehand. My highlight was the coffee region, would like to visit it again. Special thanks to our tour leader Andrea, for the excellent guidance with a lot of heart blood throughout the trip! :)

Colombia is a country of wonderful people and a painful past, this trip showed the direction it is going and what a beautiful direction that is. With a wonderful guide like Andrea leading the tour, I am jealous of whoever gets to experience this trip for the first time!

Great trip seeing really interesting and beautiful parts of Colombia. Some days felt a little bit rushed as there were a lot of early starts, but they were all worth it because we got to do and see so much. All around great trip

This was the best trip I’ve ever done in my life! Andrea was phenomenal we could not have asked for a better tour guide. She was kind and patient and ultra-organized. Would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to do Colombia! She’s so much fun and kept us all super safe and comfortable. The trip itinerary was perfect, not too rushed but busy enough that we were never bored. Colombia is such an underrated country in my opinion, the people, the landscapes and the cities are beautiful - and Andrea highlighted all of that perfectly!!

I had an amazing time on the tour in Colombia, and Andrea was a big reason why. The tour itself was well-organized, covering all the key spots with just the right mix of history, culture, and local experiences. Andrea, our guide, was fantastic—knowledgeable, funny, and full of energy. She really brought the sights and stories to life, making each stop memorable. If you're looking for a tour that’s both informative and fun, with a guide who knows how to keep things lively, this is the one to choose!
