What a shot in the arm of life's joy! Accepting the long coach journeys as part of the overall experience is key - watching the colour, chaos and landscape as we drove. The itinerary was a great mix of history, geography and social learning. A lot was packed in to the experience but at no time did it feel rushed. Shout out to my wonderful fellow travellers; to our careful driver Ranu; our thoughtful helper Ravinder and our near perfect leader Anil Ji who calmly, professionally and patiently kept things running like clockwork while keeping us all safe. I couldn't recommend this trip more highly.

I would highly recommend the Rajasthan Experience tour because the itinerary is fantastic and the experiences are amazing. We had an exceptional tour guide Anil and the bus driver and assistant took incredible care of us also. In addition the local guides that are engaged to lead each short tour are very capable and enthusiastic. Rajasthan is a magnificent and diverse place to visit and there’s so much to learn. I lived there Cooking Class and Ballooning as did everyone involved. intrepid does a great job sourcing lovely properties for accommodation, meals and extra experiences such as craft cooperative where we can watch and learn from demonstrations and buy quality products that support and benefit the workers and their communities. I’ll keep choosing Intrepid over other companies because I love their ethos.

What a fabulous trip in every respect. Our guide, Anil, was knowledgeable and lovely to be around. And the group was a joy too - I felt 12 people was just perfect. What an amazing introduction to India. Would highly recommend!

Incredible experience! Rajasthan has so many beautiful palaces, forts, temples, and this tour really showed us the highlights, along with some of the lesser known places like Mandawa which was a hidden gem. Gorgeous hotels with lots of character, amazing food. We had a great group and our guide Mahi (Mahaveer) was utterly fantastic in every way - so knowledgeable, funny, caring and generous. It felt like we got a real insight into the country thanks to the stories he told us and the local markets, temples, food stalls etc. he took us to. I’d definitely recommend this trip!
