Why you’ll love this trip
Enter the underground world of the Postojna Caves – one of the longest karst caverns in the world – home to strange rock formations and creatures like the eye-less salamander.
Ride the cable car up Mt Vogel for exceptional views over Lake Bohinj and the foothills of the Alps.
Treat yourself to a truffle tasting in Motovun during an Exclusive Experience. Truffles are combined with local specialty dishes and a sommelier will pair your tasting with suitable Istrian wines.
Stay right on one of the most beautiful squares in Split in your historic Feature Stay.
Explore scenic Croatian towns like the resort town of Opatija and seaside Sibenik, where you'll explore the 15th century stone Cathedral of St. James, decorated with 71 sculpted faces.
Is this trip right for you?
Summer temperatures can be very high in many of the regions visited (over 40°C), which can be uncomfortable. It’s important to use sun protection, wear layers to combat the heat, and drink plenty of water. Please carefully consider the time of the year you wish to travel and your suitability to that season.

Excellent tour covering the major sights but also hidden gems like the truffle farm, Cold War mountain facility and local Konobas. The guide was great enthralling us with history and humour.

Our tour leader, Marija Kukec, made the trip unforgettable with her rich knowledge, energy, and kindness. She cared for everyone, kept the group inspired, and even organized a surprise birthday celebration. Her professionalism and enthusiasm turned our journey into something truly special. Highly recommended!

This was a great tour. We had an awesome tour leader Ivan, who shared his knowledge and gave us some awesome suggestions on activities which interested us when we had free time. We had a group of 12 incl our guide and it was well structured and enjoyable. Made some great memories with a great bunch of people. I would recommend this to anyone. The highlights were Lake Bled, Plitvice Lakes and Zadar and the Island where we swam in the sea. Gotta do it.

Fabulous trip! Cannot fault the itinerary or our tour leader, Ivan. The places we visited were beautiful and having a knowledge local tour guide made all the difference, from where to eat to avoiding the summer crowds. We are so grateful we had such an amazing group of Aussies and Kiwis to share our adventures. We will never forget this tour!

Very enjoyable trip, loved Slovenia, Plitvice National Park and Zadar in particular. Also Istrian Peninsula is a little world of its own. Beautiful part of the world, lovely to be guided and get background information as well by people who know and love their homelands.
