What an amazing trip! I had such a great time on the Intrepid Premium Tunisia tour. It was such a fun mix of exploring, learning about the country, amazing food and experiences, but also having some time to relax. Ahmed, our trip manager, was honestly amazing. He went above and beyond throughout the whole trip to make sure everyone was happy. He was always happy to answer questions, was super flexible when things came up (ie. Extra bathroom breaks) and did a great job of catering to everyone in the group. There were people of different ages and physical abilities, and he was really good at making sure everyone felt comfortable and included, while still allowing those who wanted to be more active to enjoy the adventure. He even surprised me with a cake for my birthday and it made the day so special! He really couldn’t have done more to make sure we all had a great time. The included experiences were definitely some of my favourite parts of the trip. The date farm was such a cool experience and the calligraphy lesson was another highlight. They were the kind of experiences I probably wouldn’t have found or booked myself, so it was great having them included. I was also really impressed with how well my gluten-free requirements were catered for. I thought this was going to be much harder while travelling to Tunisia, but there was always something I could eat and I never felt like it was a problem. I did bring my own gluten free break which was particularly helpful for breakfasts as I find breakfast particularly hard. The hotels were beautiful too, and all in great locations. After some pretty jam-packed days of exploring and adventure, it was so nice to come back and have time to relax by the pool. I really liked having that balance of busy days and some downtime. Overall, I absolutely loved the trip and would definitely recommend it. Tunisia was such an amazing country to explore, and I came away with so many great memories! 🇹🇳

This trip to Tunisia takes you to the Roman ruins but also into the daily lives of people who make pastries and farm dates and create the bricks used in traditional construction. The guide, Montassar, provided an amazing amount of information about both ancient Tunisia and current life there.

An essential tour as an introduction to Tunisia as a unique North African country. It gave us a great overview of the Tunisian culture and complex history. We were very impressed with the Roman sites, which was a major reason for visiting. But we also became enchanted by the people and their culture. Our guide Makran was excellent and Fathi a friendly and safe driver. Highly recommended.

I came to the Premium Tunisia tour for the wonderful Roman ruins and mosaics, but multi-layered Tunisia is so much more. This tour covers it all in comfort, with lovely added extras such as a calligraphy class. And our guide Makram and our driver Fathi were exceptional.

The Intrepid Premium trip covered the highlights of Tunisia, with comfortable accommodation and a very knowledgeable trip leader. We had a great time exploring this underrated destination!

I was a part of the first Premium Tunisia group (aka the maiden voyage). Our guide, Yassine, was such an amazing leader. He was a treasure trove of knowledge, and shared the history and culture of his country with such passion. He even dealt with a difficult member of the group with patience and by staying calm the entire time. The 9 day itinerary was perfect - enough to give an overall sense of what the country has to offer. Highlights were the Roman ruins of Dougga and El Jem, plus the filming locations of Star Wars. Accommodations were great. I felt safe the entire time and the local people were very warm and friendly. Overall, I had such a wonderful holiday and I highly recommend to anyone who wants to visit this part of the world.

Tunisia is a hidden gem and this tour is excellent. Our leader was exceptional and everyone in our group had a great time.
