Why you’ll love this trip
Travel with an experienced local leader who will share local secrets, insider knowledge and historical information as you traverse Croatia’s rich coastline.
Take a tailor-made, custom day trip around Korcula Island and visit the Ethnographic Museum Barilo in Blato, enjoy a tasting of local liqueurs and traditional recipes and see the old Vela Spila archaeological site and cave.
Sail from Dubrovnik’s coastline, across the glittering Adriatic to the Elaphiti Islands, where you’ll toast to an incredible adventure over delicious cuisine and local wines. Get back on the boat in time for sunset and witness the Old Town light up in golden hour.
Spend two nights in Santa Lucia Heritage Hotel – your Feature Stay in Split –located right in the popular Pjaca (also known as the Peoples Square). This gorgeous 1776 building was recently restored and features the la luce terrace, a secret garden and private dining options.
Relish in the best Croatian cuisine as you dine out in Split, eat freshly caught fish at sea, sample locally produced wine and olive oil and enjoy dinner overlooking the Adriatic in the fisherman’s village of Lopud.
By travelling on this trip, you’ll directly support our Tuuur Foundation partner, Humana Zagreb. Donations help provide job opportunities and education programs in sustainable fashion and textiles for people with disabilities.
Is this trip right for you?
Croatia’s coast is very hilly and mountainous, meaning many steps are an inherent feature of the landscape. Also, stone streets become slippery when wet, so good walking shoes are recommended.
Summer temperatures can be extreme in Croatia (over 40°C), which can be uncomfortable. It’s important to use sun protection, wear layers to combat the heat and drink plenty of water. Please carefully consider the time of the year you wish to travel and your suitability to that season.
