Trip Informations
Why you’ll love this trip
Spend two nights on the Isle of Skye – known for its medieval castles and fishing villages. Take a daytrip through the island’s beautiful landscapes and visit rock formations and medieval castle ruins like Old Man of Storr and Fairy Glen.
Cruise the serene waters of Loch Lomond past Ben Lomond and Inchmurrin Island – home to the ancient ruins of Lennox Castle and the former King of Scotland. Soak in the scenery of shoreline castles and keep an eye out for the legendary Nessie!
Join a walking tour of Glasgow with purpose, led by someone who has previously been homeless. See some of the city’s most well-known landmarks, support a social enterprise and hear personal insights into the city’s past, present and future from your guide.
Take a guided tour of Stirling Castle, the childhood home of Mary Queen of Scots, and see Dunnottar Castle – a ruined medieval fortress on the rocky headland above Stonehaven’s coast.
Try your hand at tartan weaving during a workshop at Radical Weavers in Aberdeenshire, then taste your way through the ‘Malt Whisky Country’ during your visit to a local distillery along the Speyside Whisky Trail.
Is this trip right for you?
This is not a hiking tour, but you will spend most days on your feet. You’ll need a basic level of fitness to complete the activities and should expect to be walking and active for at least a couple of hours each day.
Please carefully consider the time of the year you wish to travel and your suitability to that season. It's important to be prepared for all conditions, including heat during the summer months and pack accordingly.

Great tour of Scotland at a relatively relaxed pace. A nice mixture of nature and history. Knowledgeable and fun fun Trip leaders.
