Is this trip right for you?
Weather in Patagonia can be wild, so it's important to prepare for all elements. Rain, wind and extreme cold are all part of the adventure. As a result of this wild weather the hikes and activities within Torres del Paine National Park may not always be possible, but if you are prepared to be a little flexible, you will have a great time.

I would highly recommend the Intrepid Premium Patagonia trip. The itinerary is very efficient at introducing visitors to 2 countries within the expansive southern region. The accommodations were in beautiful settings and the activities were spectacular. Our guide, Carla, was superb. We were introduced to local customs as a big plus. When you try this trip, ask for Carla!

The Premium Patagonia tour met all my expectations ie. visits to Santiago, to Puerto Natales and El Calafate to see wonderful nature in Torres del Paine and Bernardo O'Higgins national parks and especially the Perito Moreno glacier and finally Ushaia (The End of the World) to see the penguins and sea lions on Martillo Island. Our tour leader Paolo Pedrosa was excellent, well organized and helped us those who needed assistance as issues arose. Overall I was very pleased with the this trip and would highly recommend it to other.

I recently participated in a premium Patagonian tour with intrepid as a solo traveller. There were 9 people In my group and our tour leader Lorenzo was knowledgeable, attentive and just added to our experience. The accomodation was wonderful with unique settings often with a view. The beautiful of Patagonia is astounding and having my time there facilitated by Lorenzo meant all I had to do was immerse myself in the scenery as everything else was taken care of.

Our guide Lorenzo made this trip at 10 out of 10! We loved that the trip was a small group tour and we were lucky to only have nine people . For me, the highlights of the trip were the day at the Perito Moreno Glacier, the easy hike in Torres del Paine , and the day spent with the Penguins.

I loved everything about this trip. The highlight was probably Torres del Paine, an area of such outstanding beauty and easily reached with gentle hikes. But everything else, from the glaciers to the penguins, was amazing too. The hotels (particularly in El Calafate and Puerto Natales) were outstanding. And our tour leader, Roberto, couldn't have been kinder or more knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
