Is this trip right for you?
Weather in Patagonia can be wild, so it's important to prepare for all elements. Rain, wind and extreme cold are all part of the adventure. As a result of this wild weather the hikes and activities within Torres del Paine National Park may not always be possible, but if you are prepared to be a little flexible, you will have a great time.

We had a great time with a great group and tour leader. The only minor setback was the inadequate pre-departure informations on the $1000 option of "Minitrek" (walking on Ice) at the Glacier and the inability to choose flight class and seat.

We have just completed Premium Patagonia which was on our bucket list and completely deserved to be there , as a destination it is breath taking, and despite the distances covered the travel by plane and bus was a joy not a chore. The scenery was astounding, the food excellent, as a coeliac I was well taken care of, the accommodations were comfortable and the people so friendly and helpful. We saw a good range of wildlife too. We went mid-March which appeared to be a perfect time before the autumn rains come in. We needed every piece of clothing we carried it was super chilly in El Calafete and 26 degrees in Santiago but we were blessed with sunshine everywhere. Don’t hesitate to book this trip, worth every cent!

Wow, what can I say. From the moment I looked online, to calling Intrepid, chatting and emailing, the responses are always quick and informative. The premium Patagonia trip was a trip of a lifetime, made even more special with our amazing tour leader, Sebastian. I am so glad I made the decision to take this trip with intrepid. Well organised, safe, responsible, informative and a knowledgeable tour leader and guides. Patagonia is such a beautiful place to visit, so much to see and do in a beautiful environment.

Our premium Patagonia trip was awesome! It’s only 9 days long but it covers the highlights of this region. Torres Del Paine, the Perito Morena Glacier and the penguins at Ushuaia. All stunningly beautiful. I understand the weather can be wild in Patagonia, but we had perfect weather in Feb/March and our guide Seb was great. We would totally recommend seeing this stunning scenery.

Great Trip! This is truly a premium experience, so expect to stay at the best hotels, have the nicest transport, and to be offered the most fun experiences. It was a great balance of outdoor activities and luxury with plenty of free time to explore Patagonia your own way. Will definitely continue using and recommending Intrepid for trips.
