Why you’ll love this trip
Experience a different side of bustling Bangkok during an Exclusive Experience – rise early and visit a local temple where you’ll ‘make merit’ by bringing an offering to the temple’s monks
Stay in the beautiful Lisu lodge for your Feature Stay. This community-based project employs Lisu villagers and allows you to immerse yourself in local culture while enjoying creature comforts.
Cruise the waterways on board a traditional rice barge as you watch local life pass by and enjoy a delicious meal during an Exclusive Experience.
Support an important animal welfare initiative, speak with local experts and get close to incredible creatures at the Elephant Nature Park.
Unleash your creativity and learn about the history of Benjarong, a traditional style of painted Thai porcelain, with a visit to a Benjarong ceramics community.
By travelling on this trip, you’ll learn about our Tuuur Foundation partner, World Animal Protection. Donations support them to promote better living conditions for elephants in captivity and help rescue elephants from inhumane conditions. Tuuur will double your impact by dollar-matching all post-trip donations made to The Tuuur Foundation.
Is this trip right for you?
You will visit several temples on this trip, which requires a level of modesty. Please bring clothes that cover the arms and pants or skirts that go past the knees. The heat can be challenging, especially in April and May, so please pack accordingly.
This trip includes a leisurely cycling tour around Sukhothai Heritage Park, so a level of confidence on a bike is required. The roads are quiet with minimal traffic, and the tour takes place within the park's confines.

This trip was exceptional. Its itinerary and activities were obviously curated with care and attention to detail. The vans we travelled in were comfortable, accommodation was of the highest quality, and food was excellent. Our tour leader, Nok, was truly exceptional, took away any stress, ran the tour flawlessly, and enriched our experience.

This premium tour of Northern Thailand was outstanding. Our tour leader Naa was absolutely brilliant. She was professional, extremely knowledgeable and respectful. I celebrated my 50th birthday on tour and she it a memorable experience. She went above and beyond any other tour guide I've experienced. We were immersed in traditional Thai culture and the accommodations were top tier.
