What an excellent tour and amazing introduction this was to this very exotic location. And if you're lucky enough to get Said as your tour leader you will not only learn a great deal but also thoroughly enjoy the experience.

Great trip with a brilliant tour guide. We discovered that Morocco is a much bigger and more varied country than we realised with many amazing places and lovely friendly people. Be prepared for a bit of a culture shock in places. And the occasional cold shower!

Our premium Morocco tour with Mohamed Idalhi was a delight, a cultural education, an adventure, full of local content and experiences . We loved the family visits and staying in riads. The Sahara should not be missed! We did the Casablanca option and a private cokoing class in Essouira organised by Nourdine that added so much to our experiences and enjoyment. Thank you Intrepid.

The Premium Morocco in Depth incl Essaouira has been excellent. We've been to and seen a wonderful range of diverse cities and landscapes and only had 2 very long travelling days. Our guide Mohamed has been incredibly well organised, informative and interesting, enabling us all to learn lots about life in Morocco.

I recently completed an incredible guided tour of Morocco with Intrepid, and it exceeded every expectation. Our journey took us through an amazing range of destinations — from Casablanca and Meknes to the winding alleys of Fes, the blue magic of Chefchaouen, the vast Sahara Desert, and on through Erfoud, Merzouga, Dades, Ait Benhaddou, Ouirgane, Marrakech, and finally the breezy coast of Essaouira.
Our guide, Said, was absolutely outstanding — funny, generous, and deeply passionate about his country and its culture. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and engaged, and his storytelling and sense of humor brought Morocco’s rich history to life.
Our driver, Esmile, may have been the quieter member of the team, but he was an exceptional driver. We always felt completely safe on every winding mountain road and desert track.
The food, the culture, and the landscapes were simply unforgettable. From savoring tagines under desert stars to wandering through colorful souks and watching the sunset over ancient kasbahs — every day offered something new and beautiful.
This tour was the perfect balance of adventure, culture, and relaxation. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Intrepid (and especially Said and Esmile!) to anyone considering exploring Morocco.

A fabulous way to experience all that Morocco has to offer (be sure to add the Essaouira extension). An incredibly rich mix of architecture, music, people, food, language, landscapes, handicrafts (and so many cats)! I didn’t want to leave!
