Intrepid truly is when a tour takes you to places and adventures you would never expect. Sure all the usual famous local highlights are covered with a delightful, well informed guide (Suz) and the accommodation provides the perfect retreat after a solid day of expert, explained experiences. But then there are the surprises that one would never encounter travelling alone…like trekking into the jungle and dining with a local Mayan family, floating in a fresh water stream through a mangrove nature park whilst birds soar above or being taken out late at night on Mexican Independence Day to see the national spirit celebrated with the locals exuberant songful exultations. All whilst sharing the joyful journey with fellow travellers. As a first time tour taker I look forward to more intrepid travel.

My first Intrepid tour was in Mexico. Premium Yucatán Peninsula Highlights. It was outstanding! The tour leader was incredibly knowledgeable and made everything look so easy. I learnt a lot and loved the history, food experiences and water activities- floating in mangroves being a highlight! I would def recommend Intrepid tours!

This was a great trip. Even though it's not long we did a lot without it feeling crammed in. Val our leader has a passion for the history of Mexico which really shows!

Amazing experience exploring Mexico with Intrepid and Valeria. The itinerary is carefully curated, and Valeria made it all come to life. She is extremely thoughtful, and helped us see connections between the various cultural sites and activities so that we could better understand Mexico’s history and current culture.

I had a wonderful experience on my trip to Mexico with Intrepid. Everything that was mentioned in their brochure was accurate and very well planned. The itinerary was followed step by step, and I felt safe and well taken care of throughout the journey. The company was reliable and professional, and I truly appreciated the organization and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend Intrepid to others and would love to travel with them again in the future.
