Is this trip right for you?
To view mountain tops for sunrise, we must start very early! Your sunrise breakfast near Mt Batur will require a departure around 4:30 am. The view at sunrise is well worth the early wake-up, especially if the weather's fine!

There are a limited number of single supplements available per trip departure. Please speak to your booking agent for further information.

Great trip October 2025. Leader Sherly so inclusive, helpful and knowledgeable. For me the Batik lesson, the village walks most especially when we stumbled over wedding and another one a funeral were the highlights of a great trip. The group were great fun to be with. As, of course, you'd expect the Brits so delightful...but even the Aussies were okay. Not sure if you all will ever read this but thank you all and Sherly you made for a memorable holiday. Remember work, save, travel and repeat. Mike.

It was my first time visiting Indonesia, and as an Asian person, I didn’t set very high expectations before the trip. Surprisingly, every destination—like Yogyakarta and the Ubud area—far exceeded what I had hoped for. The included activities, such as visiting temples and mosques, experiencing the Batur sunrise, having dinner with a royal family performance in Ubud, and cruising with dinner on a private yacht in Sanur, were all AMAZING! In particular, our group leader, Corry, impressed me with his vast knowledge of history and culture, as well as his strong connections with local people. All of these factors made this an incredible trip for me!

Our guide was incredible and the trip overall was a great experience. Bali is overrun with tourists, so being able to see Java as well made it a much more authentic Indonesia adventure.

A trip well worth booking if you want to enjoy the diverse landscape Java and Bali has to offer as well as learning about the local culture and the amazing spiritual aspects of this place. Some amazing show stopper experiences, such as dining with the royals, sunset cruise on the yacht and an unforgettable blessing ceremony. Highly recommend:)

Java and Bali Premium is excellent! Our guide Nova set the bar high for my future group travel. He is a genuinely good human who keeps things on track without it feeling stressful. I used this tour to kickoff a month-long yoga trip to Bali. I’m so glad I got to experience Java too. Yogyakarta should be on everyone’s bucket list.
