Is this trip right for you?
Rajasthan is a desert state and so it’s important to prepare for hot sticky temperatures during the day and cooler climates in the evening. Layers are the best way to tackle this disparity in weather.
There are a number of long travel days on this trip. Some journeys take up to six hours, but are a great opportunity to get to know locals, fellow travellers and the diverse scenery.

At first I was hesitant to travel to India but now I have experienced the history, the culture and friendly nature of the people I would recommend that everyone should travel to India at least once in their lifetime. India is a country of contrasts, history, culture and vibrancy.

A great first visit to India. The trip offers a wide range of amazing activities in Rajasthan, including a visit to the Ranthambhore National Park. The small group size and having the same group leader for the whole trip is a plus. Lucky enough to be in India during Holi. Highly recommend.

The whole trip was absolutely brilliant. It was a great itinerary, made especially good by our guide, Shakti. His invaluable experience and personal qualities made a huge difference to our enjoyment of the trip: always calm and laid back, but always dependable and reliable too; always warm and friendly, but always professional too. Feeling safe and worry-free meant we were able to relax and fully appreciate a packed itinerary of experiences that we could never have discovered on our own. A big thank you to Intrepid and Shakti.
