Rajasthan is a desert state and so it’s important to prepare for hot sticky temperatures during the day and cooler climates in the evening. Layers are the best way to tackle this disparity in weather.

My daughter and I recently returned from the Premium India in Depth where we travelled from Mumbai through to Delhi over 14-days. We can highly recommend this trip. Our guide, Yaddu, was excellent, providing an in-depth history of areas and landmarks, sharing stories, and telling ridiculous jokes. We were pleased that he joined us for each meal and shared his love of this magnificent country. We had a couple of hiccups along the journey due to events out of everyone's control (think Pushkar Camel Fair with thousands of people and no access to the desert) but alternative activities very quickly planned. Our accommodation along the way was clean and comfortable with great facilities. Try the optional Hot Air Balloon ride if you are so inclined, along with the Bollywood movie. It's well worth heading to India and embrace everything is has to offer.
