Is this trip right for you?
verified
Iceland can be very cold at any time of year, so it's important to bring appropriate clothing. On the rare occasion that your leader has to alter the itinerary due to adverse weather, alternative activities will be offered.
verified
Many locations on this itinerary are remote, which means a few long drives of around 6 hours. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the scenery and spend some time getting to know your fellow travellers. Of course, you will stop frequently for photo opportunities.

My second Intrepid tour and it did not disappoint. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and proud of his country. He even took us to a few extra places on our way to tick off a few bucket lists. Highly recommend Intrepid.

A wonderful trip through the ever-changing topography of Iceland. Our guide, Kristian, was superb. In addition to the stops on the official itinerary he showed us hidden gems, and entertained us with stories of trolls and giants. His knowlege of Iceland is encyclopedic. The hotels were lovely, many with great views.
