My first experience with Intrepid and I really enjoyed it. Lots of like minded people in the group and we became friends fast as the group was small. The itinerary was planned very well.

Our trip to South America was our first Intrepid trip and it certainly won’t be our last. It exceeded our expectations and our trip leader Carla was exceptional. Our group dynamic was great. Intrepid premium is a great way to travel.

This trips gives you a nice taste of three different and fascinating countries. I loved the walking tour of Valparaiso with a local guide who knows all about the street art. The stunning wineries and delicious steak in Mendoza and staying in the superb Casa Agostino were highlights. Iguazu falls are incredible and made the trip for me. Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro are wonderful cities. I recommend at least an extra day in Rio to see the Botanical Gardens, the Cathedral and Portuguese library. Thanks to Emilio for being a great tour leader and showing us what real life in modern Argentina is like.

If you want to encompass the highlights of Chile, Argentina and Brazil this is the trip for you. This trip covers a lot of ground which requires several flights , private van rides and several accommodations. The logistics could be a nightmare but with an excellent tour guide it all goes very smoothly. Doing this on our own (my husband and I ) would have been so difficult. The local guides are wonderful and because they live there they are able to show you around, give you some history as well as discuss what is going on today. We had wonderful included options as well of recommendations of things to do doing our free time. Also great restaurant recommendations. We used our time everywhere we went to its fullest because of this. It was a great trip!

Our Intrepid adventure was amazing! Each location gave a look at another world through food, music, history, water, and wine (and lots of dogs). I will recommend the Premium Chile, Argentina, and Brazil trip to friends, along with Luma—our wonderful team leader!

Really well organised trip that balances group activities with free time to explore places on your own. Most of the places we visited were great and we had the pleasure to participate in a couple of local authentic experiences, which made a big difference.
