I would recommend this trip. The itinerary is more relaxed that the other Intrepid tours I've done (a mix of Original and Comfort) and it's quite heavily food and wine based, but there is also a good cultural element. I arrived in Santiago a day+ early, which was very worthwhile and I'd recommend, as it's a beautiful place with lots worth seeing at a leisurely pace. Likewise an extra day or two in BA at the end of the trip. For anyone who's veggie and concerned about food options, don't worry, it's not an issue.

Our honeymoon in Chile and Argentina with Intrepid was excellent. Daniela Romero was an exceptional guide who went out of her way to ensure everyone enjoyed their holiday. Thoughtful in celebrating Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with us.

The trip and itinerary were excellent, with fantastic excursions that gave us a real glimpse of local culture — including an unforgettable tango experience in Argentina. Alongside an enthusiastic group of fellow travellers, the journey was made even more special by our wonderful guide, Roberto, whose knowledge and warmth enhanced every moment.

Roberto was the best tour guide out of all thirty-one countries I have been to. He stood out from the rest. I learned so much about the culture and history through him, which I had no idea about beforehand. I really took some great photos through this trip, which was my main motive, and learned so much more than expected. This was the best trip! Will be coming back to Intrepid.

This was my first tour of any kind and I was nervous beforehand, but now I can't imagine why I put it off for so long! It was a really superb way to travel with like-minded people and our group leader, Gus, made the whole trip easy and thoroughly enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend Intrepid.
