Is this trip right for you?
Space is at a premium in Europe and your hotel is no exception. Rooms are often small, but usually the central location makes up for that. For those travelling as a duo, hotels in Europe often don't have double beds, but rather two single beds that can be pushed together.

Our trip was very fun and memorable. I thoroughly enjoyed the winery tour and lunch. Visiting the olive oil facility was also enjoyable, and having a tree planted was a nice touch. The cooking class was fantastic, and we had a wonderful group of people. Our leader was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about teaching us about her culture. She made the trip enjoyable and valued our opinions. I would definitely tour with Maria again.

Portugal Real Food Adventure was such an amazing tour. If you love food and wine, plus a great itinerary of the perfect sights and included activities, this is your tour. Our tour leader Maria was exceptional and I feel so blessed to have been able to learn about her country, Portugal, from her. She is passionate, knowledgeable, caring, and so approachable. I am now a fan of Intrepid and cannot recommend this tour or the leader, Maria, more!

Wonderful combination of city and rural Portugal. Sampled lots of wonderful foods, olive oil, wine, port and visited great local restaurants. The absolute highlights were Casa da Cisterna (especially the night walk to see paleolithic art), olive oil tasting and meal at Marvao and the custard tart making lesson.

This was our first tour with intrepid, and we didn’t know what to expect as we usually travel on our own and we didn’t want to have a lot of people with us. It turned out excellent our guide. Maria was so great and informative and enthusiastic that has made me think about booking my next trip with intrepid. we never felt there were too many people and the people that we did meet we took on as friends.
