Brilliantly organised group trip with a knowledgable guide! Rufugios and campsite were a pleasant surprise. The trek itself was of course very special with less tourists and autumn colours in April!

This trip was fantastic! The guides were extremely organized and professional; plus the provided interesting environmental information about the scenery/terrain. The hikes were the perfect length and difficulty. It was challenging and rewarding! I am very happy with the direction we took as the last day led us to the most beautiful scenery. The accommodations and food were mostly excellent (even the camping was more like "glamping" and very comfortable). I would recommend this trip to anyone who enjoys breathtaking scenery and fairly demanding hikes.

I loved this trip and wish we would have had time to do the whole O trail. The guides were great and the hikes challenging through beautiful areas. It was a bit crowded but not overwhelming. The food and accommodations were much better than I usually experience camping.

I enjoyed the trip with an amazing group and two fantastic guides, Rosario and Camila! Everything was well-organized. However, the only downside was the misleading advertisement about the accommodation. 2 out of 3 nights were spent in tents, even though there were still beds available in the refugios on the day!

I completed this trip in early October and I have been very satisfied with the way everything was organized by Intrepid. The guides of the tour were amazing, the transport, accommodations and food were above expectations. Everything was great and I am happy to have shared such an unforgettable memory with an amazing group.

If staying in the refugios is important to your Patagonia experience (as it was to mine), I'd strongly recommend considering a different operator - Intrepid advertised refugio lodging throughout but put us in tents for two out of three nights despite the refugios having confirmed availability when I checked directly with them onsite. While the W Trek itself was absolutely spectacular, this discrepancy between advertised and actual accommodations was a significant disappointment.
