Is this trip right for you?
verified
This trip involves some long bus and train rides, which can be tiring but offer a quintessential experience of the Indian landscape and people.
verified
We visit several temples on this trip, which requires a certain level of modesty. Please bring clothes that cover the arms and pants/skirts that go past the knees. A light scarf is also a good idea for covering shoulders and arms when it’s hot.

I went on this tour with my daughter and two grandchildren. I do not normally do tours, but this was extremely well organized, and the leader was fantastic, providing help, advice, and information throughout. I would recommend this to anyone who is thinking of visiting India. A great experience that has produced many wonderful memories

Our first time to India was amazing, thanks to our incredible guide, Mahaveer! We are so grateful that we were able to experience India with a "local" who is knowledgeable about the history (the looong history), the current culture, religion, and the food. We visited some amazing places; we particularly loved the step well and of course, the Taj Mahal. We stayed at an actual Palace, which was beautiful and wonderful - we enjoyed the pool while listening to wild peacocks! We will definitely visit India again and highly recommend Intrepid.

Excellent guided tour. Personal involvement was appreciated. Starting day was disappointing as we were taken to filthy narrow lanes of old Delhi.

An amazing trip which was perfectly planned for all members of the facility to enjoy. Gajraj was a brilliant guide and ensured everyone was happy and well looked after. Would definitely recommend this as a family trip for all ages. Our girls were age 8 and 10 and was a perfect pace for them.

A great introduction to Northern India with so much in the itinerary to tempt you back. Really well planned to suit kids and adults alike with plenty spare time for enjoying the pools or exploring more. Felt 100% safe all of the time with kids aged 8 and 10. Gajrag our guide was brilliant and had lots for advice to get the best out of the trip.

This trip was life-changing for my family, and for my five year old daughter it was magic from start to finish. The activities each day were perfectly balanced, my daughter was never bored or over tired, and our guide Kushal was practically family before the end of day 1. I couldn’t have hoped for a better introduction to India for our daughter.
