This trip involves some long bus and train rides, which can be tiring but offer a quintessential experience of the Indian landscape and people.

We visit several temples on this trip, which requires a certain level of modesty. Please bring clothes that cover the arms and pants/skirts that go past the knees. A light scarf is also a good idea for covering shoulders and arms when it’s hot.

Me and my dad really enjoyed India. Our guide Ajay was brilliant and overall the group was lovely. Seeing the Taj Mahal was a highlight and seeing two tigers felt very special.

Overall experience was amazing, and more than met our expectations. Guide was superb, and the itinerary was full. Others in the group also made for a great experience, and our daughter (14) made some friends.

My 12yo boy and I loved this trip. Great diversity and a lot covered in a short space of time. Lucky to have 3 other great families as travelling companions. 7 kids in total got along like besties. Ravi was wonderful. Calm and reliable.

Our third trip with Intrepid - Northern India family holiday this time. As alway great value for money with an excellent guide - PB. The Taj Mahal is every much as astonishing as they say - and thats from a cynical Yorkshireman! A two week window into Indian city/town and village life we will not forget. Made to feel welcome everywhere we went. Fab.

We had an excellent trip. Our guide Pradeep was great fun and very knowledgeable. We were on a family tour and he was excellent with all of the children who were of differing ages from around 8 to 16. Travelling around India was made as stress free as possible with great drivers and a comfortable bus. Our guide took great care of us and really ensured we got the best from our experience. This was our first ever group tour.

When my mum said we were going to India, I didn't know what to expect. But as soon as we arrived I knew it was going to be a place like nowhere else. This trip let us experience incredible sights and culture. Highly recommend it. Our guide and driver were also incredible.

The collision of magic and mayhem, the bonkers and the beautiful, the intensity and charm, made India an extraordinary destination for my daughters and I. This trip was a remarkable introduction to a remarkable country - it's a packed itinerary, to be sure, but well balanced in terms of sites and activities. We were truly blessed with an exceptional and knowledgeable (and fun!) guide in Mahaveer, and our driver Kishan deserves a huge amount of credit for safely getting us to each destination on the controlled chaos that is Indian roads. I'm normally an independent traveller but I was very happy to have chosen Intrepid for this trip. It was meaningful and memorable, and I highly recommend it.
