Ramadan is a month-long festival in Morocco, often in March and April. Travelling during this period can be a rewarding cultural experience, however some regular services may not be available during the daytime, such as restaurants or coffee bars, and occasionally travel can be disrupted by events. Your leader will adjust the itinerary accordingly, but please consider your travel arrangements carefully before booking travel for this period.
verified
The trains can get busy at peak periods, so we’d recommend packing lightly and compactly to make sure you can get on and off the train easily and quickly. You'll need to be able to handle your luggage through busy train stations.

I went on the Morocco Encompassed trip which was excellent. The North Morocco trip showed more of the bigger cities and the South Morocco trip was more countryside. I’m glad I did both. Our guide,Jamal was excellent. The hotels are basic but clean. Chefchaouen and the ruins of Volubilis was a highlight I would have liked more time in Fes as we did mot have time to really appreciate at that city had to offer

My first trip to Morocco didn’t disappoint. The 8 day itinerary of Northern Morocco was well-paced and very interesting. Our guide combined extensive knowledge with a great sense of humour. I had been skeptical beforehand of the ‘shopping experience in carefully selected places’, but I enjoyed these visits and didn’t feel pressured to make purchases. The transport was varied and well organised - we were neither rushed to make our connections, nor were we made to wait. For me, Volubilis was particularly interesting. Go to a Hammam in Chefchaouen if you have time!

With Intrepide, our trip was enriched by a comprehension of the culture and history through knowledgable local guides. We saw much more than we could have on our own because the organization of the itinerary and transport was done for us.
