Ramadan is a month-long festival in Morocco, often in March and April. Travelling during this period can be a rewarding cultural experience, however some regular services may not be available during the daytime, such as restaurants or coffee bars, and occasionally travel can be disrupted by events. Your leader will adjust the itinerary accordingly, but please consider your travel arrangements carefully before booking travel for this period.

The trains can get busy at peak periods, so we’d recommend packing lightly and compactly to make sure you can get on and off the train easily and quickly. You'll need to be able to handle your luggage through busy train stations.

Good, whistlestop introduction to Northern Morocco. Transport was good and accommodation was fine with the exception of the hotel in Fes, which I felt was below par. I felt safe everywhere we went.
Our guide, Hamid, was fantastic and arranged some additional activities for us that were very much welcomed and appreciated. Highlights for me were Volubilis, Moulay Idriss (I was almost alone on this one though), Fes and - weirdly - the mammoth train journey to Marrakesh.
Finally, a shout out to the rest of my group, who were fabulous and we had an absolute blast together!

The tour was well structured with diverse and well placed locations giving a broad experience of Morocco. There was a good balance of city and country destinations with exposure to regional food, culture and history. The local guides were friendly & approachable, experienced and very knowledgeable of their subject. Our tour guide, Ayoub Saket, encouraged a group of strangers to become a 'family' for the week and lead us through all stages of the tour sharing confidence, knowledge and a passion for his country while making us feel safe and secure.
Would recommend adding an additional night in Casablanca and Marrakech to fully absorb those cities experiences.

My wife and I had a breathtaking adventure during this trip. We wanted to learn about the culture, language, religion and history of Morocco, and boy did we get it all! I would recommend this trip to anyone and everyone who is inquisitive. The Roman ruins at Volubilis, eating a camel burger and standing atop a riad in Chefchaoen with the Rif mountains behind us are just some of the many highlights I will always cherish. This was also possible in no small way due to our leader Mohamed who made the trip really come alive. Thank you Intrepid. We will be back!

An incredible trip that removed all the hassle of planning and let us explore far beyond the usual tourist spots. Travelling with my mum and a wonderful group felt like knowing friends for years. Highlights included Chefchaouen, an unforgettable homestay meal, a scenic picnic, and our fantastic, fun tour leader, Mohamed Achahri.

The North Morocco adventure was a great introduction to Morocco. The seven nights were a great length tour and visited some of the most interesting areas / towns in Morocco. A good introduction that gives a very good glimpse of the country, its history, its culture and its people. The groups are small, the accommodation is varied and comfortable.

An excellent trip of 3 of Morocco's imperial cities led by a very knowledgeable leader with 2 nights spent in the wonderful blue village of Chefchaouen allowing time to relax and visit the hammam. I'd definitely recommend arriving a day early to enjoy Casablanca to the full and adding a day at the end in Marrakech.

A great way to see the northern part of Morocco. A mix of medinas, culture, great food and entertainment. An easy way to navigate and not feel the culture shock, you’re in safe hands.
