Ramadan is a month-long festival in Morocco, often in March and April. Travelling during this period can be a rewarding cultural experience, however some regular services may not be available during the daytime, such as restaurants or coffee bars, and occasionally travel can be disrupted by events. Your leader will adjust the itinerary accordingly, but please consider your travel arrangements carefully before booking travel for this period.

The trains can get busy at peak periods, so we’d recommend packing lightly and compactly to make sure you can get on and off the train easily and quickly. You'll need to be able to handle your luggage through busy train stations.

This was my first experience with Intrepid and it was fantastic. I love that Intrepid uses local guides, and they were all amazing. Each place we visited was unique so I got a great introduction to the culture of Morocco. The homestay, medina visits, and artisan visits were all exciting and informative. Our trip leader Abdel was enthusiastic, caring, and fun. Overall an amazing experience in Morocco!

I would recommend Intrepid for single solo travellers and couples. The tour guides they provide are first class, even on the basic trip. We were made to feel safe whilst learning about the culture and history of Morocco. Well done Intrepid for your research into where to stay and the transport but more importantly, the tour guides you select. Hassan and Adnane (Addy) were the most informative Moroccan guides and so helpful and funny. I love both of them dearly 🫶

Hassan was the best tour leader for my trip to Northern Morocco. He was helpful in every way and taught me about the culture and geography of Morocco. I never felt unsafe as a solo female traveller and it was my first solo trip. I recommend Intrepid for anyone looking to travel to Morocco. Hassan kept a very safe and timely itinerary and was always helpful. Intrepid is amazing 👏

A fascinating insight into real Morocco. We had a superb tour guide, Rachid, who gave us a real insight into the different regions and cultures especially the indigenous nomadic people. Kudos to Intrepid for their sustainable approach - Rachid bought huge water bottles for us to reduce plastic and we then saw these being reused by the subsistence farmers at a rural market to transport their olives.

A fantastic trip with an even better guide - Rachid made our holiday one we’ll never forget, and we’ll always be thankful to him for it.

This was definitely my favorite trip, I met amazing people and learned so much. Most importantly my tour guide was well informed and he was extremely kind. I plan on doing a south morocco trip and would try my best to have Omar as my guide again!!! BOOK WITH OMAR BOUREDDA- u wont regret it.
