I booked this trip not knowing anything about Newfoundland. What an exceptional place. The stunning landscape , beautiful walks and locals who are friendly, hospitable and incredibly creative. Met amazing people in my group had so much fun together! I am so glad I had a chance to visit this beautiful inspiring place.

Newfoundland exceeded our expectations even though the weather didn't always cooperate! The puffins and the Skerwink trail were outstanding. (I do recommend hiking poles and good hiking shoes for the latter if you're unsure on your feet.) Our guide Simon was excellent and offered the group some flexibility in the itinerary here and there, which was much appreciated. We ate and slept very well and loved all the scenery. I highly recommend this tour!

This was an excellent trip! I fell in love with Newfoundland. My highlights were watching the puffins up close, seeing the first humpback whale of the season, and the delicious berries & iceberg wine we got to sample. I also thoroughly enjoyed the lovely coastal hikes and would have liked more of that included on the itinerary. I also made a lifelong friend on this trip which was so lovely. Our guide and leader, Simon, was awesome! I would 100% ask for him again on my next Intrepid adventure. He is very knowledgeable, considerate and always made sure everyone was comfortable, taking care of people's dietary needs, and making recommendations on places to see based on each person's unique taste. He also has a great sense of humour and has traveled all over the world. It was inspiring to speak with him.

This was a fabulous tour that covered a huge amount in a short time – face to face encounters with puffins and icebergs particular highlights. Simon was an excellent and inspiring tour guide (many thanks Simon). If the tour could be extended to include a leg up to Labrador it would be close to perfect but even without that, worth every penny.

Our trip through Newfoundland was excellent, we explored the natural beauty of the island and were embraced by the warm and friendly people who reside there. Our guide was insightful and flexible, allowing us to make the most of what we wanted from the trip. I would absolutely return to Newfoundland soon and recommend this trip to anyone looking to venture onto those rocky cliffs to see icebergs!

A wonderful cultural and informational tour of Newfoundland. Mia was the best tour guide ever, and the people of Newfoundland most welcoming to tourists.

We loved this trip. Newfoundland is amazing and lived up to all expectations. We saw amazing and dramatic north Atlantic coastlines. It was a perfect getaway from our urban home and appropriately balanced in terms of activity and relaxation. Definitely formative memories. Thank you so much!

I can highly recommend as an outstanding tour. The scenery/experiences are fantastic as are the wonderful people of Newfoundland. The puffin viewing was amazing and we had an excellent guide in Simon. I also want to mention that as a tour company, Intrepid has excellent values in the way it encourages respectfulness of the environment, supports local communities and is responsive to constructive feedback.
