I highly recommend this trip. Simon was an excellent guide- very knowledgeable, organized and accommodating to group requests. Newfoundland was even more beautiful than I expected. The boat rides, lighthouses, hikes, and natural beauty on this trip are 100% worth the difficulties in getting to Newfoundland! I would love to go back anytime.

A great way to explore Newfoundland. Simon was an excellent Tour Leader and seeing the puffins and icebergs were real once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

This tour was a breath of fresh air! It was a great experience, both eye-opening and impactful, leaving a lasting impression of the region and the people. Our guide was a gem: knowledgeable, patient, and adaptable. Highly recommended!

Newfoundland never disappoints! Because this tour relies heavily on viewing natural phenomenon, be prepared to not see popular natural attractions, including wildlife and icebergs, even if they are technically 'in season'. If you are the first or last tours of the season, be prepared for most tourist attractions and commercial businesses in small communities to be closed or have limited service. Also bring lots of warm clothes!

Intrepid says they always hire local guides. It is what they are known for. They did not have a local guide on this trip. Buyer beware. I am so, so disappointed.
