Absolutely fabulous trip with Hanane in May. The variety of foods, scenery and experiences are excellent as are your local supporting team during the hiking days. How they conjure up such magnificent picnics in the middle of a hike is a mystery! I was slightly concerned if I was fit enough for the walks but they were all perfectly manageable. We walked around 8-9 km on the first days, 19km the next and around 12km on the last. I loved every step! I can't recommend this trip enough. Read the reviews and essential info and you have all you need to press the booking button. Do it and you'll make memories for a lifetime.

This trip was nothing short of amazing. We sampled rural Moroccan life in way that most trips do not. The food was extraordinary, the hiking and scenery magnificent. Perhaps the best trip of this kind I have ever taken

I highly recommend the women’s hike in Morocco. It was a well organized, with a great leader and wonderful local guide, great local food prepared by our guides and the scenery was breathtaking. I will use Intrepid for my next adventure.

This trip was amazing! I felt it really helped me to understand the beautiful Moroccan people of the High Atlas Mountains. Their joy is infectious! While there lives can not be described as easy, their love for one another and community is something we can all envy. My Women’s walking expedition in Morroco was a truly amazing experience. Our guide Hanane was a gem. She was kind, patient and helpful, with a great sense of fun. She had excellent knowledge of the local area, and always found out answers to any queries. The accommodation was basic in some of the villages, but we had been pre warned about this, and it was very clean and comfortable and added to the adventure. The food was delicious. I loved trying all the Moroccan recipes. Our cooking team were amazing too. We were provided with wonderful picnic feasts during our walks, and lovely breakfasts and dinners too. We were waited on hand and foot! It was my first time travelling alone, so I was apprehensive, but I had nothing to fear. I was looked after so well. I loved the daily rhythm of walking all day. There were a couple of long walks, and some gentler ones too, but I managed well. I was glad of my walking poles and good hiking boots. All in all, I had the most wonderful experience and plan to have another Intrepid adventure when I get the chance. Thank you!

This was my first trip with Intrepid, and it exceeded my expectations! A huge thank you to our guide, Hanane, and the incredible team of Mama Bhia, Maleka, Mohammed, Abassou, and of course, the mules. I loved how well prepared this trip was, all the delicious food we had, and especially Maleka's bread on the rocks, which was a highlight for me. The hiking was fantastic, and the group of lovely women I met made the experience even more special. I definitely recommend this trip!

This trip was so incredible - wonderful people, amazing views, excellent food, and such a good way to experience Moroccan culture away from the extreme business and touristy-ness of Marrakesh. The hikes were challenging but doable even for a person who is in okay but not great shape, and I had support and encouragement from our trip leader and guides and other members of the group the whole way. There was a small issue/miscommunication with our hotel bookings but it was cleared up and didn't detract from the overall trip experience. Our amazing group leader and local guides are definitely a big part of what made the trip as good as it was. This was my first trip with Intrepid and I was really impressed, it was so nice to have everything figured out and arranged for us and just be along for the adventure. I would definitely recommend this trip and I'm already thinking about where I'll go for my next one!
