The Sahara Camp is on the edge of the desert. In 2019, the Moroccan government put measures in place to improve the safety, quality and impact of desert camps, which means that camping inside the Erg Chebbi dunes is no longer possible.

My trip to Morocco offered more than I expected. In 14 days I visited more cities and places than I could have imagined. I learned about the culture, language and customs of the Moroccan people as well as its history, religion and politics. I enjoyed traveling with folks from different cultures and made long lasting friendships.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around Morocco. We learnt so much about the culture and history of this country, especially the more remote areas.
Our guide Allal was exceptional, with so much knowledge to impart. Particularly enjoyed visiting and eating in the homes of local families.

I just completed the Morocco Uncovered 13 day trip with Tariq. This trip took us from cities to valleys to the Sahara and the desert. Tariq and all the local guides were extremely knowledgeable and always ensured we were safe. This trip was during Ramadan and Tariq always ensured that we were able to eat which was very much appreciated.

Excellent trip with a couple of really good cultural opportunities! Also Ahmed E was an excellent tour leader, which raised the overall quality of the trip. While the hotels were fine, they reached seemed to have a small flaw which would vary by hotel. Like one hotel in our room had very low hot water pressure leading to cool showers.
Things to bring or know:
Suns screen
Chapstick
Laundry twice
Snacks
Shorts and jacket same day
Very cultural
They will handle most of your baggage
Walk is a moderate level with several climbs up a small mountain.
