The Sahara Camp is on the edge of the desert. In 2019, the Moroccan government put measures in place to improve the safety, quality and impact of desert camps, which means that camping inside the Erg Chebbi dunes is no longer possible.

A trip for those travellers wanting to explore corners not usually accessed. Meeting locals living simple lives, making memories full of colour. All whilst being socially responsible.

Morocco Uncovered was the most amazing trip. We stayed in a couple of lovely hotels, some riads ( some were absolutely beyond my expectations), we camped in the Sahara, had lunch supplied by a local in their riad( again absolutely oustanding). We stayed in gite. Such a variety and the locals were so welcoming. Next time I will remember to take some items for the local children such as pens, pencils, books for school etc. Overall an outstanding experience!

Morocco Uncovered was exactly what I was hoping it would be. I love the small group travel with Intrepid. This trip did not disappoint with a mixed group of English speakers all looking to explore the people, culture, history and landscape of Morocco.
