The Sahara Camp is on the edge of the desert. In 2019, the Moroccan government put measures in place to improve the safety, quality and impact of desert camps, which means that camping inside the Erg Chebbi dunes is no longer possible.

I was stunned by the beauty of Morocco and the fantastic way it was presented by our guide Samir. I felt like the itinerary was prepared perfectly for our group of nine. Travel days were split up with interesting stops, great local tours and guides and yummy meals. Samirs interaction with us as well locals and the stops along the road were fantastic. Connecting us with the Haman was a perfect ending to a perfect trip! The Morocco people and sites were superb. Thanks Samir!

Our trip leader gave us a deep understanding of Moroccan culture and showed us many hidden gems. Intrepid treats us as exploring travelers, not tourists.

Morocco uncovered is a fantastic trip for all ages, solo’s or couples . The trip covers a lot of the country within the 2 weeks, without being exhausting, enabling you to really experience and learn about the country, the people, the food and everything in between. Samir is an excellent tour leader so if you’re booking, try and get into his group. It was like no other trip I’ve been on!!

An excellent tour which really does give a full overview of the diversity of Morocco. I loved the diversity of visiting the big cities, rural mountain villages and the desert, visiting local homes for meals and learning from our wonderful guide, Samir.

Not only did I get to see most of the sights of Morocco I feel I really got to know the country. Having a leader who grew up in Morocco meant he not only could lead our trip he could answer our many and varied questions about life in Morocco. This added a real depth to our trip.

It was an amazing trip! The value you get for this price is unmatched. From busy medinas to quiet apple orchards, every stop was worthwhile. Our tour leader Mohamed Ait Dammou was great. He had a great sense of care for all the passengers, everything he did felt genuine. We travelled in December and some mornings were colder than we expected.
