Is this trip right for you?
verified
Morocco is a great food destination for vegetarians. With wonderful fresh produce and many delicious local dishes, you'll have a great time on this trip. For vegans we recommend reviewing the itinerary and inclusions to ensure that you will be able to fully participate and enjoy this trip. We also have many other trips to the Morocco which can accommodate a range of dietary requirements.
verified
As this trip covers quite a lot of ground there are some long drives. These are excellent opportunities to get to know your fellow travellers, catch up on some reading, or simply appreciate the scenery.
verified
On Days 8 and 9 you'll visit M’Goun Valley. This remote area of Morocco is an amazing place to discover on foot, but to do so you'll need a moderate level of fitness and have the relevant footwear and clothing with you. Don’t worry if trekking isn’t really your thing, there are plenty of other activities to do in the valley.
verified
The weather in Morocco can be extreme. Summer temperatures can be uncomfortably hot, especially for those who aren't accustomed to the heat, so please consider carefully what time of year you travel.
verified
Although you shouldn’t expect any aggressive selling techniques in Morocco, please be aware that you may be approached by shop owners and street vendors offering their goods to you on regular occasions.
verified
Ramadan is an annual month-long festival, during which travel can be a rewarding cultural experience, however some regular services may not be available during the day, such as restaurants or cafes, and occasionally travel can be disrupted by events. Your leader will adjust the itinerary accordingly, but please consider this when selecting your travel dates. You’ll find dates and further information in the ‘Climate and seasonal information’ section of the Essential Trip Information.

I had the greatest trip in Morocco. The trip was made greater due to the group leaders knowledge and willingness to share his experiences and heritage with the group.

This was my 4th Intrepid trip. I love the care for community and the use of local guides and small group sizes. Intrepid ethics is important to me.

This trip exceeded my expectations in so many ways. Morocco is to be enveloped into a glorious mix of stunning landscapes, delicious food and crazy cities. This trip had so much variety and I highly recommend Jawad as a guide. He’s kind, calm, caring, funny and entertaining with drumming, singing, dancing, everyone loves him and he made the trip the best ever.

Intrepid Travel is a conscious organisation and their tours match this. We have taken a tour of Morocco and visited major sites but also eaten with locals in their homes and at food markets. We had a fully immersed experience and this brought Morocco to life for us. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure our holiday was an enjoyable one. Can’t wait to travel with Intrepid again

The Moroccan food tour was excellent. Our guide Youssef is excellent at his job and has a great sense of humor. He had everything ready for us at each town and we didn’t waste any time waiting.
