Morocco is a great food destination for vegetarians. With wonderful fresh produce and many delicious local dishes, you'll have a great time on this trip. For vegans we recommend reviewing the itinerary and inclusions to ensure that you will be able to fully participate and enjoy this trip. We also have many other trips to the Morocco which can accommodate a range of dietary requirements.
verified
As this trip covers quite a lot of ground there are some long drives. These are excellent opportunities to get to know your fellow travellers, catch up on some reading, or simply appreciate the scenery.
verified
On Days 8 and 9 you'll visit M’Goun Valley. This remote area of Morocco is an amazing place to discover on foot, but to do so you'll need a moderate level of fitness and have the relevant footwear and clothing with you. Don’t worry if trekking isn’t really your thing, there are plenty of other activities to do in the valley.
verified
The weather in Morocco can be extreme. Summer temperatures can be uncomfortably hot, especially for those who aren't accustomed to the heat, so please consider carefully what time of year you travel.
verified
Although you shouldn’t expect any aggressive selling techniques in Morocco, please be aware that you may be approached by shop owners and street vendors offering their goods to you on regular occasions.
verified
Ramadan is an annual month-long festival, during which travel can be a rewarding cultural experience, however some regular services may not be available during the day, such as restaurants or cafes, and occasionally travel can be disrupted by events. Your leader will adjust the itinerary accordingly, but please consider this when selecting your travel dates. You’ll find dates and further information in the ‘Climate and seasonal information’ section of the Essential Trip Information.

It was a trip of a lifetime. Pretty surreal experience in the dessert and in the mountains then some very down to earth experiences with the local people, their food and their religion. Love that Interpid advocates and supports the marginalized groups of the society. I will be looking for more Interpid tours to join in the future!

This is one of my favorite tours! The food and culture of Morocco is definitely worth exploring and this tour will immerse you in both. Your days will be spent with so much flavor, spices, colors, and vibrant life. This trip covers so much ground that you’ll see so many different parts of the country that each have atheist own appeal and uniqueness.

With the modest price tag, I was skeptical this trip would deliver, but it exceeded all expectations! The accommodations were charming, the food was delicious, and our guide became our friend. We felt safe, comfortable and well-fed from day one. It was a busy itinerary, but I still can't believe how much of Morocco we got to see and experience in just 12 days. 10/10 recommend.

My Moroccan Food Adventure exceeded all expectations! Our guide, Ayoub, was exceptional – his deep local knowledge and thoughtful surprises, like a sunset dinner at a viewpoint and a visit to a semi-nomadic family, were unforgettable highlights. From the magic of Chefchaouen to the Sahara desert safari, every moment was special. The food experiences were immersive and delicious. This tour was an amazing blend of culture, food, and adventure. Highly recommend for an authentic Moroccan experience!
