Why you’ll love this trip
See a different side of Morocco by bike on two guided cycling trips where you’ll get closer to authentic Morocco, off the beaten tracks through Amazigh villages and among fruit and nut trees.
Descend out of the mountains along a former caravan route into the historic fortified oasis of Ait Benhaddou – if this place looks familiar it’s probably because you’ve seen it on the silver screen!
Ride a camel across shifting sand dunes in Erg Chebbi at sunset, then take a night desert walk and camp in a tent under the amazing North African stars.
Hike among the towering red gorges and lush green palms of Todra Valley, passing sheer red-hued cliffs and narrow passes.
Start and end your trip in colourful Marrakech and discover the Djemaa el-Fna square and winding alleys with a local leader who knows all the secrets.
Is this trip right for you?
To enjoy this trip, it’s important that you’re both confident and competent in riding a bicycle. This trip features undulating terrain so a good level of fitness is required.
When travelling in Morocco, temperatures can get incredibly hot in summer and surprisingly cool in winter. Have a think about what time of year suits you best to travel.

Fantastic trip, every day exceeded expectations. Good combination of travelling, cycling and hiking in spectacular and unique Moroccan locations. Great bunch of fellow travellers, plus Mohamed Azabi was an outstanding/exceptional tour leader. Trip tip, do the Hammam!

What a fab trip! Mohamed was EXCELLENT! The first day of cycling was HARD but very rewarding when we got to lunch. I would recommend you bring gloves and padded shorts if you don’t cycle much as they are long rides. Book now, you won’t regret it.

Absolutely incredible tour - I am already recommending it to my friends and family. Great itinerary, smooth logistic. The absolute highlight though was our guide - Mohamed Inti - even though our tour happened during Ramadan he was always there for us and made us feel welcome, safe and helped us discover his country.

Mohamed Inti should be the Moroccan Minister of Tourism. He knows everything, he is understanding, supportive, enthusiastic and so much fun! He must be the best guide in Morocco and should be rewarded for it as he represents 100% of the Intrepid values! I have traveled in many places but he has made this experience an unforgettable one. This was by far, the best trip I have ever done in my life!

Hiking and cycling are the best way to experience the beautiful Moroccan landscape! Some cafes and restaurants were closed due to Ramadan but this did not negatively impact our trip in any way, our guide always arranged great alternatives. In fact March seemed like a great time to travel Morocco. The weather wasn't too hot and the mountains were beautiful with a coat of snow on the peaks. I loved the active itinerary and our guide was absolutely amazing in every way. Best trip I have ever taken!
