Why you’ll love this trip
See a different side of Morocco by bike on two guided cycling trips where you’ll get closer to authentic Morocco, off the beaten tracks through Amazigh villages and among fruit and nut trees.
Descend out of the mountains along a former caravan route into the historic fortified oasis of Ait Benhaddou – if this place looks familiar it’s probably because you’ve seen it on the silver screen!
Ride a camel across shifting sand dunes in Erg Chebbi at sunset, then take a night desert walk and camp in a tent under the amazing North African stars.
Hike among the towering red gorges and lush green palms of Todra Valley, passing sheer red-hued cliffs and narrow passes.
Start and end your trip in colourful Marrakech and discover the Djemaa el-Fna square and winding alleys with a local leader who knows all the secrets.

This trip was such an amazing experience! I loved every part of it, especially our time in the Sahara desert. Our guide, Abdoul, was just amazing. He had a great sense of humour and made sure we were comfortable and safe. I'd definitely recommend this trip to anyone who loves cycling, hiking and wants to have an adventure of a lifetime.

This is an awesome trip and an even better value for the money. You get to see some amazing places that I personally wouldn’t have found on my own. The tour guide was knowledgeable and I felt very safe.

My wife and I are middle aged seasoned travelers and athletes. Neither one of us can sit still. Our cycling/hiking itinerary was perfect. We were challenged and tired. The group we were with were like-minded, friendly and collaborative. We’ll be back for another four.

This trip was outstanding. The itinerary was amazing and the biking and hiking portions were challenging and fun. Our guide, Abdoul, was outstanding. He was able to expertly attend to all of the various needs of the group, share his wealth of knowledge about Morocco, and coordinate the many, many facets of this trip. He very much added so much value to this experience. My husband and I will definitely be taking another Intrepid trip after this experience.

Highly recommend this trip as an interesting mix of cycling hiking and cultural activities. It enables you to see a range of areas and landscapes in Morocco. The additinal activities such as bread making, camle riding and visiting the lcal Hamman were good fun and gave an insight into the lcoal culture. Bring cycle shorts and clothes for varied weather, ( we had a wide variety of weather in April.) The first cycle ride is tough but you can always stop and hop in the van , many in our group did on a very windy day, or consider an E bike.

Excellent mixture of cycling, hiking and cultural activities. I really enjoyed the opportunities to meet local people as walk guides, bread making & other stops when travelling in the mini bus. Bring cycling shorts & clothes for mixed weather, ( in April we needed warm layers, raincoats & clothing for warmer weather.) First day cycling is tough but you can get in the van at any point, most of our group did on the steep ascent. A great mixture of scenery and activities. Highly recommend q

My first Intrepid trip - was fantastic. Very cool to see so much of Morocco in just 9 days. Great group and guide. Biking was super tough, but manageable with e-bike - some in our group took the van, so manageable regardless. Will likely do more Intrepid tours in the future.

This tour offered authentic cultural experiences and challenging physical ones. The value was exceptional. I never thought I would make it to Saharan sand dunes or speed down Moroccan mountains on a bike. It offered plenty of opportunities to taste local cuisine and glimpse into local life. It was a special experience and surpassed expectations.

A great value trip seeing different corners of a fascinating country. A good combination of physical activities and cultural learning. I enjoyed all destinations but the trip to the desert dunes was a highlight. The guide was excellent ensuring that our trip ran smoothly and that we gained the best experience of Morocco, this included the very sweet gesture of having tea with his family in his Atlas mountain home.
