Summer temperatures in Morocco can get very hot (over 40°C). If you're travelling in the warmer months, be sure to wear layers, use sun protection and drink plenty of water. Nights can get quite cold, so warm clothes are essential.
verified
Ramadan is an annual month-long festival, during which travel can be a rewarding cultural experience, however some regular services may not be available during the day, such as restaurants or cafes, and occasionally travel can be disrupted by events. Your leader will adjust the itinerary accordingly, but please consider this when selecting your travel dates. You’ll find dates and further information in the ‘Climate and seasonal information’ section of the Essential Trip Information.

As this trip covers quite a lot of ground there are some long drives. These are excellent opportunities to get to know your fellow travellers, catch up on some reading, or simply appreciate the scenery.

This trip doesn’t spend a lot of time in Marrakech. We highly recommend you plan extra time in this fascinating city if your time allows. Please speak to your booking agent if you are interested in booking additional nights in the city.

We had a fantastic trip to Morocco. Our guide Rachid was amazing, enjoyable, knowledgeable, caring, understanding and most of all kind at heart. We loved Marrakech City it was very inviting and people so friendly. We enjoyed the train ride from Marrakech to Casablanca it was very interesting to see the different people that were visiting. Met some people from the USA, London UK and from Australia and New Zealand and all taking trains or buses to get around with no problem. We loved the Sahara Desert and had a joyful ride on the Camels they were awesome to look at and we also drove on the sand dunes. In all Morocco is one of my best land trips so far.

We did not know what to expect when we signed up for our 10-day Moroccan Highlights tour, but the trip exceeded our expectations in every way. We had a fantastic tour leader in Abdul, and our group of 13 fellow travellers were the perfect blend of curious and adventurous folk. It was an eye-opening and life-enriching journey, and was more than a trip...it was an experience--one we will not soon forget.

My tour of Morocco was nothing short of extraordinary. From the vibrant sites of Marrakech to the serene dunes of the Sahara, every moment was rich with culture, history, and breathtaking scenery. What truly made the experience unforgettable was our tour guide, Charif Ouhammou. Charif was knowledgeable, warm, and incredibly attentive—he brought each location to life with fascinating stories and local insights. His passion for Morocco and dedication to our group made us feel not just like tourists, but welcomed guests. I can’t recommend this tour—or Charif—highly enough. An absolute highlight of my travels!
