Trip Informations
Why you’ll love this trip
Explore the dramatic red dunes of the Sahara Desert on a camel’s back, experiencing an unforgettable sunset – then stay under a blanket of North African stars in a desert camp.
Spend time in two of Morocco’s most picturesque towns – the 11th century kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and Chefchaouen, with its striking blue and whitewashed houses, red-tiled roofs and artistic doorways.
Watch the scenery change from desert to oasis in Todra Gorge and Dades Valley. Get active on a hike, learn about life in the oasis and enjoy a delicious home-cooked lunch with Amazigh hosts.
Dive into the culture and history of Morocco – admire the majestic Volubilis ruins, rub shoulders with the locals in the old medina in Fes, and see the museums of Casablanca.
Where else would you find drummers, dancers, fortune tellers, jugglers, street food vendors and old medicine men all in one place? In Marrakech of course, exploring the acclaimed Djemaa el-Fnaa.
By travelling on this trip, you’ll learn about our Tuuur Foundation partner, Amal. Donations support them to provide women in Morocco with culinary skills training to help improve livelihoods. Tuuur will double your impact by dollar-matching all post-trip donations made to The Tuuur Foundation.
Is this trip right for you?
Summer temperatures in Morocco can get very hot (over 40°C). If you're travelling in the warmer months, be sure to wear layers, use sun protection and drink plenty of water. Nights can get quite cold, so warm clothes are essential.
Ramadan is an annual month-long festival, during which travel can be a rewarding cultural experience, however some regular services may not be available during the day, such as restaurants or cafes, and occasionally travel can be disrupted by events. Your leader will adjust the itinerary accordingly, but please consider this when selecting your travel dates. You’ll find dates and further information in the ‘Climate and seasonal information’ section of the Essential Trip Information.
As this trip covers quite a lot of ground there are some long drives. These are excellent opportunities to get to know your fellow travellers, catch up on some reading, or simply appreciate the scenery.
This trip doesn’t spend a lot of time in Marrakech. We highly recommend you plan extra time in this fascinating city if your time allows. Please speak to your booking agent if you are interested in booking additional nights in the city.

Morocco is a great country. It is for sure my favourite country by miles. People are very kind and the hospitality in small villages is something that made this trip extraordinary. Our guide Mohamed nait baaza is the best guide we've ever had. I will highly recommend this trip to everyone I know.

This trip is a must for anyone wanting to see the best sights of Morocco in a short period. Omar was an amazing tour guide with great local knowledge. The Sahara Desert was definitely the highlight but honestly all of it was great. Recommend staying a few days either side in Marrakech to ensure you get to enjoy it as well. Thanks again Omar!!

I had the most incredible experience with my tour group and in particular our leader Tariq, the trip went so smoothly we didn’t have to think about a single thing. Tariq’s knowledge, humour, communication & care for us helped to make lasting memories. Would highly recommend

If you want to have a full 360 experience of Morocco, this is the right choice. Tariq, our guide, was simply the best leader that we could meet: experienced, full of knowledge, sense of humor and kindness. We loved the fact that the people in the group were all of the same age. This was a plus, especially in building wonderful relationships during the free time. There is a lot of travelling, so be prepared. But it is worth it!

The trip covers all the major places to visit in Morocco. Talking to the nomad and local family was a highlight, where we could learn more about the local culture.
