Important notes
1. Please note that these trips are for adults and children travelling together and there must be at least one child under 18 with you.
2. Minimum age for children on this trip is 5 years old. Please note that anyone aged under 18 must be accompanied by (and share accommodation with) a parent or legal guardian.
3. A discount of 10% applies on this trip to children 17 years and under at time of travel.
4. A single supplement is available if you’d prefer not to share a room on this trip. The single supplement excludes Day 5 (Desert Camp) where you will be in shared accommodation and is subject to availability. Please speak to your booking agent for further information.
5. The arrival transfer is only valid if arriving on Day 1 or if you have booked pre-trip accommodation through Intrepid. Please provide your flight details at the time of booking, or at a minimum 14 days prior to travel, as we may not be able to confirm a request made within 14 days of travel.
6. While Wi-Fi is available in our hotels it is important to note that wi-fi works best in the hotel foyer and will be very slow in the rooms. An easier option may be to purchase a SIM card in Morocco to stay connected.
7. Ramadan is an exciting time to travel through Morocco but there are also a few things to bear in mind. Meal times will be a lot later than you may be used to, in particular dinner. You will find restaurants will open at 7–7.30 pm in the evening for dinner. Which will mean your family may not be eating dinner until 8–8.30 pm. Likewise breakfast may not start until 7 am. As you travel through the countryside there will be limited small road side cafes to stop at. Your leader will pre-plan where to stop to ensure families have access to snacks and bathroom stops along the way. Morocco is a Muslim country therefore alcohol is not readily available, particularly during Ramadan.

As my first intrepid holiday I found this a great way to get the most out of a country I don't know much about. I experienced things that I would not have if I had planned it myself. My guide made us feel safe in an unfamiliar location

Morocco was an amazing destination and we really enjoyed our family tour with our 15 year old son. Our group was made up of lovely like-minded travellers. The kids ages ranged from 8-18 and it was great how they all got on so well. However it was our guide Charif who made the trip. His professionalism never faltered and his wonderful rapport with the kids was incredible. We loved exploring the medinas and our night in the desert. The drumming and dancing was a highlight. The Moroccan people are wonderful and we learnt so much about this fabulous country.

Our trip to Morocco was unforgettable, thanks to our amazing guide Hamid. He was knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly organized. From the cities to the desert, he made every moment meaningful. We felt safe, welcomed, and enriched throughout. Highly recommend Hamid for a truly authentic and enjoyable Moroccan experience!

We recently returned from an incredible 10-day family adventure through Morocco with Intrepid Tours, and I can’t recommend this experience highly enough. The accommodations arranged by Intrepid were fantastic—comfortable, clean, and full of authentic Moroccan charm. The meals were equally memorable, especially the freshly baked bread and delicious tagines we enjoyed along the way. This trip was everything I hoped for and more. If you’re considering seeing Morocco, do it with Intrepid —and if you’re lucky enough to have Charif as your guide, you’re in for something extraordinary. Thank you to Charif and the entire team for making this journey so special.

The families we traveled with, and how well everyone got along, was fantastic. Loved the balance of sites, locations and experiences. There is quite a lot of driving but I’m not sure how this could be reduced.

Our guide Lechan was as good as you could ever find on any trip in any country. Be prepared for poor or no wifi in many locations, and credit cards are often not accepted. Bring cash.
