Land of Belize was an amazing first foray into group travel. First time traveling as a solo female and I found this trip are perfect balance between an adventure trip that took the hard work out of planning everything myself, and enough independence to still do and see things on my own. I made a lot of friends on this trip, ate some amazing food and experienced the local culture in a way that felt genuine and authentic. Tikal was a once in a lifetime adventure. I highly recommend. And cave tubing is a must! Would definitely do an Intrepid trip again. Our local guide took care of everything!

Land of Belize was a great week-long introduction to this interesting country and, if you are lucky enough to have David as your tour leader, you will have a great experience! Mayan ruins, turquoise waters, different landscapes, warm people - you can't go wrong with this trip!

My first intrepid trip but not my last!I am a solo senior traveler and this trip was everything I wanted and more. I learned so much history and culture, the small van travel was comfortable and the itinerary was diverse. I liked ending in Caue Caulker so I could continue on my own for some island time at the end of the group tour.. Wilbert was an amazing guide!

I can’t recommend this trip enough! From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience. Wilbert, our guide, was truly the best we could have asked for. His knowledge of Belize was exceptional, and his passion for sharing it with us made every stop so special, from the ancient ruins of Lamanai to the breathtaking Actun Tunichil Muknal caves it made it so much more meaningful. Wilbert genuinely cared about the group, ensuring everyone felt comfortable, confident, and engaged throughout the entire trip. His kindness, humor, and professionalism made every moment enjoyable. The entire journey was well organized, with excellent accommodations. I felt safe and secure at every hotel we stayed at, and there were no issues whatsoever. The information provided before the trip was perfect, giving me everything I needed to know to be fully prepared. Our bus driver, was kind, safe, and reliable, ensuring smooth and stress free travel. The boat trips we took were equally well managed, with the Captain, the crew, and Wilbert making sure we always felt safe and secure on the water. This trip did involve some physical activity, especially in the heat, but that’s expected in Belize’s warm climate. Wilbert made sure we were all well-hydrated and comfortable every step of the way. His careful attention to detail and the environment made me feel confident and at ease during every adventure. The inclusions and extended opportunities provided throughout the trip added so much value and allowed us to explore even more. I left with not only incredible memories but also a deeper appreciation for the culture, history, and natural beauty of Belize and Guatemala. If you're considering a trip to Belize, I highly recommend this experience. It was everything I hoped for and way more, I’m so grateful for the amazing people and experiences that made it so special.

I have so far avoided organised travel groups, but this one was well organised, well led, great activities and balance, great tour guide and an amazing group. I have relaxed, learnt more about history and culture and made new friends.

This has been a trip that I shall always remember as really special! The scenery and history and the people made this a wonderful experience. The "topper" was Fidelio and his leadership throughout. He taught me the history and the many positive attributes of the people and this country. I am so fortunate to have had this opportunity!
